Wait, maybe I should run to the new FedEx center near my house and take a picture of their trucks which contain stuff that was from a previous shipment from that factory.... oh nevermind.:p

well i wouldn't doubt they are shipping out of china (i didn't look at that website though) But mine that i ordered along with my mac pro is shipping from china according to the fedex thing....

i wouldnt be surprised if it is true.

although i really hope that apple is also readying the new macbook pro's for shipment.

also new imacs.

Apple airfreights all new products that are manufactured in Asia. Ships are only used when there is plenty of stock U.S.-side. As if you needed any more evidence that this person has no idea what they're talking about.

Maybe MacRumors needs a Page 3? :)

I noticed the guys spelling was exactly the greatest. But hey. I hope that those pictures are true.

Neither is yours. HAHA. Just messing with you buddy. The spelling on that website was amazingly bad. Must have been the Chinese to English translation.

Trucks! Trucks! Trucks! If this was a Bob the Builder fansite I could understand all the excitement. If there was ever a time to introduce a Page 3 this would be it.

Page 1, Page 1, Page1.... I know someone who knows someone whos friend knows someone's friend who met steve jobs in a taxi cab in cupertino and and steve said new ipods coming soon.:)

Google's CEO was just appointed to Apple board, his name is Eric Schmidt

...and this has to do with a bunch of random boxes supposedly full of iPods how...???

(999th post!)

Lajo isn't a chump, he's the CEO of an iPod accessories company. I don't see why he'd go out of his way to brag about a complete fabrication. It's very likely that new iPods are on their way.

Companies don't advertise an item they are planning on replacing soon, I agree with liketom. Even to sell existing stock - it's not financially sound, and it's actually bad business if you think about it.

If there's a lot of stock remaining in the retail channel, I think it makes good business sense to advertise it; rather than potentially be left with a lot of 5G iPods that would be impossible to shift after the 6G release.

To the fact people are mentioning Apple wouldn't send things surface, that they always air freight new products; think about it, even when you air freight mass quantity is costs a ton!

Apple just settled a lawsuit, it costs them what, maybe a buck a unit?
We bring in IP phones in my business, they are about 4 times the size of an iPod.
We pay about $13 to air freight in bulk, but only $2 to send them by surface.

If Apple is still ironing out content negotiations, but has already completed the design and has gone into manufacturing, take the slow boat from China! They save the money they lost on the lawsuit in no time, have plenty on the day they chose to announce, and its a win for everyone other than Fedex.

Don't put it past them; with the delays focusing more on the content providers, Apple can finally take advantage of shipping ahead of time.
