New leather and silicon cases up at Apple for XS and XS max

Think I’ll get the Lavender Gray as well, looks great!

several sites reporting that the camera bump is slightly bigger in the XS vs. the X and that is why apple isn't listing XS cases as compatible with X. hmmm...
 
If the casing around the camera of the iPhone Xs is slightly larger, then the leather case for the iPhone Xs should fit the iPhone X (though, the iPhone X case might not fit the iPhone Xs). They also discontinued sales of the iPhone X, so it makes sense they discontinued sales of their first-party iPhone X cases.

Wish that I could order/pick-up that green one today, but will have to wait until released, which should be on the 14th. Although, in prior years, many Apple stores had them in stock, just not out or available for pick-up (you needed to ask one of the sales people to check their stock list).
 
DK. In the past I was able to order and receive the case prior to receiving my phone
 
Those OtterBox cases are nice too. I have a similar black/clear on my 7+ and it really protected my phone. Wish they had more colors.

I would check Apple Store in person on Friday the 14th to ask if they have them in stock. They might not be on display until the following Friday but often times will sell them earlier. You’ll likely be able to order it the 14th through the website without pickup option until the following week.
 
I really like the forest green! So pretty! I will NEVER get another light color case. I have the deep pink (rose something or other) from last year and it looks DISGUSTING! It's not dirty. I could clean dirty. it's wear and aging on the edges but it looks dirty. while I love the color I hate that it looks so nasty! I'm thinking the green may age better? or I could get silicon but I don't like how those feel so much.

That peony pink will look dirty and nasty within a couple of months! It IS a pretty color now...
