DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear it! Any other thoughts comparing it to your 13" MBP? Heat on your lap? Screen brightness/quality/reflections? Trackpad size? Thanks!

You notice the font being smaller on the air, the heat doesn't feel any different on my lap. I really don't feel it that much its very good. The screen looks just as good if not better than the pro. And the track pad feels just as good I don't notice the size difference. Its a little hard getting use to the thinness of the macair.

Soon I hope. I left my ipad home and brought the Air to Starbucks. This is tough deciding which I prefer for my running around. I can keep both but this is a totally different experience. The 13" would not be as good for this as the 11.6 in my opinion. Small tables at Starbucks:)
I am having a hard time deciding to keep both or just one I guess we will see when I get the Air, I am very attached to my iPad.

So if the MacBook air fit me then might sell it or keep both I have AppleCare on the iPad so not so sure it's worth selling.

Yes, I have applecare as well on mine. Did you get the 64GB or 128GB?

just ordered!

after a lot of going back and forth and reading what other people had to say about the differences between the 11.6 and the 13.3 I finally decided to go with the 11.6 with 4MB and 64G. I was close to going for the 13.3 with 4MB and 128G, but for me this is going to be a highly portable computer that I will take with me for web browsing and writing. I have been working on a novel for some time and it will be useful for me to have something as portable as this to bring with me all over. I had been using an Acer netbook with Windows 7 for over a year and it is just brutal to work on. I can't wait to get this baby in my hands, I hope I don't regret not going for the higher end.

Just got my 11.6" in the mail. It's truly, stunningly thin. I can't figure out how they fit a keyboard and a screen, WITH Mac OS X into this thing. The size is perfect. Not too small at all - as others have been worried about. The trackpad doesn't seem to be quite as smooth for feel/tracking as the rest of the Macbooks, and it's sunken in a little from the rest of the machine.

Grats! And very cool pics, thanks ;) Have fun with it!!

Very nice comparison shots. In the last one, is that the 13" MBP compared to the Air? Or the 15"?

Thank you. That's the 11.6" Macbook air sitting on the 13" Macbook.

Yes, the benchmarks don't do justice on how fast and snappy this thing feels. Normal usage e.g. browsing, checking mail etc feels a lot faster than my MBP 15" Core i5 with HDD.

great, new owners post your thoughts as well...

improvement in disk subsystem really makes the difference.

I keep thing I hear the UPS truck and it the garbage truck have about a hour to go.

I highly doubt that you will find use from your ipad anymore.

I am only guessing here but it looks to be 45 degrees. I am not very good with estimating the angle. No on cutting my wrists.

BY 45 degrees, you mean it is halfway between being upright and hitting the table?

If so, that is perfect, much better than I expected.
