So far the stoppage time as cost Apple £100 at least - I've had time to realise I only need 256GB - was going to get another 512GB!

So everything seems to be same except for Skylake Core M processor and the improved battery life.
MacBook Air comes with 8GB as standard now, same price as 4GB model before the refresh, so you're getting more for your money, not bad.

If you actually ordered one just a couple hours before they updated their site, then you will probably receive the updated version in the colour that you wanted.
Same here - but weirdly the order status page shows no delivery date! It just says "Processing" with no dates. Does yours show any dates?
If you're after one of the base models that's probably your best bet. I went for the m7 so assume it's BTO so will take longer

It's safe to say I was onto something! Glad the update came this morning.
On another note....VERY surprised there was no price change. I expected at least $50 to be knocked off the price. Also the education portal also only offers the standard $50 to be knocked off...total crap IMO. Comparable Macbook Pros offer 100-200 off of these models. I want to see the initial reviews but I'm highly considering this MB. Hoping they made manufacturing quality improvements in the keyboard area
