I think the menu bar is taller than the notch and seems to stick out below it. I wonder how this looks with different wallpapers.

Danny1305 you disagree then buy me a new machine. I simply can’t afford anything else.I will keep my 2020 MBP which has Windows 10 and a touch bar for this reason.
No it’s 64 GB memory as option. ”Pro” means whatever you want it to mean.32 GB max? Maybe they should've called it the "Leashed". The current MBP handles at least 64GB. Is this truly a pro machine? At the price points above, I am not sold on it being a pro machine - whether or not it is unified memory or not.
It makes it instantly recognisable as a Mac in amongst the world of PC notebooks. Like the chin on an iMac.Speaking of notch - they made no mention of face ID, so the only thing it contains is the camera, yet they decided to make it so wide because?
Look before making wrong comments. M1 Max is available option for 14 inch.14inch doesn't get the m1 max
you are rightLook before making wrong comments. M1 Max is available option for 14 inch.
These are the the most expensive pro laptops in the industry by a factor of 2.Prices make sense for the most part minus the fact that it should start at 1TB not 512GB.
I thought Boot Camp was already a non starter with the M1 chips. Did that change? This seems to kill the possible support for possibility of Bootcamp Windows..?
Try ordering through the app - much quicker.FFS trying to order and their website keeps crashing. I was able to order AirPods but I want the educational pricing for the MacBook Pro.
Same as in 2019, no? But yes M1 Max will be a stretch, well look at the bright side: the price will be a gatekeeper and thus reduce potential supply issue.European prices are a little crazy. 16-inch starts at € 2.749.
But that's the thing. It's very distracting. Just look at the real images where Apple hasn't tried to hide it with wallpapers or full screen. It's a big black splotch right in the middle of the menu bar.Looks amazing. If people only manage to focus on the notch I feel sorry for them
Agreed, the biggest shortcoming for me is no Windows support. I only have an MBP for the ability to play games, which basically requires Windows support.I will keep my 2020 MBP which has Windows 10 and a touch bar for this reason.
What was your min with the previous 16 inch? About the same?My “ minimum“ configuration is 3900 dollars. Insane.
Do a quick check on Dell XPS. apple better and faster on almost everything and yet comparable price, yikes!16" M1 Max starting at $3,500. Yikes.
