New Macbook Pro today- one problem

hey guys so i got my new macbook pro tday
i love it and all
but one issue bothers me uncontrollably
i am very ocd so i fully checked the whole laptop
and noticed that the left front corner or the laptop when closed goes a mm out

my parents wont take me to return it as my dad thinks im acting like an idiot because he thinks it is such a minimal problem...but im very ocd lol and i wanna fix it
so i cannot take it to the apple store and i cant send it back
because otherwise the left side sticking out a mm it is perfect
is there anyhting i can do??
is it easy to fix myself?
 
get over your OCD and actually enjoy your computer. Do you ever use it when the lid is shut? No...
I hate to be rude but we get these kinds of threads all the time and the only response is, “get over it dude...”

Edit: I know OCD is not something that can be ‘gotten over’ but you really shouldn’t worry about such a small, stupid “problem."

i was just hoping there was an easy fix
cuz i just got it today and you know whenever you get something new you treasure it...especially since im 16 and i bought it myself...
its like 1-2 mm its kinda noticeable
 
Pics or it didn't happen :p

Apple would realign the screen for free if its bad enough.
 
Do yourself a favor and poke yourself in the eyes because you aren't getting very far in this world anyway.

#1 - You are posting on an internet forum. Please realize that not everyone will live up to your expectations.
#2 - Grow thicker skin... it was a joke. Another thing you will find on the intertubes.
#3 - You are complaining on the here (that damn internet thing again) about something that is 1mm off. Seriously, if this is bothering you so much you are going to have a hard time in life.
#4 - Seriously... get offline now. There is this thing called "outside" you might enjoy more than taking the time to post a whiny thread about a non-issue on an internet forum.
#5 - please don't respond to this. It is a joke, it is made to be funny. Laugh damnit!

Ohh so it's funny for him to say it and not me? Is that like gay people allowed using the word fag or something?

Listen... the internet is a scary place where people say what they want. If someone saying something like I just said is enough to get you all hot and bothered maybe it is time to get off the computer and find some friends.

i wasnt trying to start a problem
but i just wanted to fix my problem
as i got my mac tday and my ocd isnt letting me enjoy it lol
but as long as i take it to an apple store within my 1 year warranty
they should fix it free of charge from what ive heard from you guys
so thats good to know

Hey, I totally understand where you are coming from dude. I notice "every" little detail about any electronic device I buy. Just some people are ignorant about OCD and make rude comments. If the problem bugs you a lot, I would take it into an Apple Store and let a genius look at it. That's your best bet. They are really helpful in the store. :)

Good luck battling your OCD as well. It's a struggle for me daily not being able to work because of it. Best of luck to you. :)

Just like you, my Apple store is about 45 minutes away. The photo I posted on my thread makes it look worst than it really is - but it's really unnoticeable on my computer so I'm not even going to worry about it. Plus, everything about my computer is completely fine and I don't want my replacement to be all screwy with one thing and I don't want something else to get ruined in the process of fixing the screen. I'm not OCD at all, but surely I wish it was better - but that being said, it doesn't bother me one bit. I know my computer won't look like it was day one (particularly from the keyboard wearing out and becoming shiny) so I just want to use it how I please and I'm fine with that too. I just want it to last longer than two or three years before being unusable. :eek:

I'm actually not "hot" about it or out of my mind. I just took offense because of the rude comment you made. As for friends, sorry I got friends. lol ;)

So nice try. I'm sure you make rude comments because of some problem(s) or insecurity in your own life. The problem is that most people like you won't admit they have issues in their own life or they fail to realize it. I took psychology in school. :D
