2 working days, so tomorrow for Friday.

Unless there is another day in there for Scotland

What worries me is that last thursday I got
Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 10 Nov 2008
This is the day it gets given to TNT to be prepared for delivery and the day you get your tracking number. It then takes 2 days to be delivered. On the 10th I logged in to not receive a tracking number. Today I logged in hoping to get my tracking number and instead I got this
Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 11 Nov 2008
Again I get no tracking number.
What's the betting I log in tomorrow to be met with this
Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 12 Nov 2008?

How can it take a whole month - I really regret not buying it in store - I have a conference on thursday that I really needed this for. As someone mentioned earlier - I am now going to have to borrow someone elses. How very professional

Plus the woman on the phone today said it wouldn't be here until saturday when i asked if they delivered on a saturday she said oh right in that case it will be friday - this can't be right unless they're all just sitting in their warehouse for no reason. Which I can't imagine they are because surely they hate complaints as much as we hate making them.

It's finally here, my MBP arrived on the 4th Nov having ordered it on the 17th Oct.

And I must say I'm nothing short of amazed, there are no faults what-so-ever! It is a thing of beauty!

To those who are still waiting...it'll make it all that sweeter when it arrives! :D

so are our MBP's in Luxemburg still and if so are they still with Apple. Does this make it likely that tnt will get the hand over tomorrow?

hopefully, but were all in the dark, just like you. We jut make weird predictions just to pass the time :D

I just meant, like, normally is this the process?

UGH I can't wait until this ends........ I've always hated waiting, in a way this thread is making me INSANE. Today I had to wait to photocopy something for about ten mins....... I was almost blue in the face.... haha :D

plus the impression i got from the irish lady this morning was that we couldn't trust the tracking anyway. She just said that on friday there should be 'out for delivery' and that meant that it was indeed 'out for delivery'

I wish I could have screamed FRIDAY? FRIDAY? ARE YOU JOKING? THAT'S ANOTHER THREE DAYS AWAY! ARE YOU AWARE OF HOW LONG THIS MONTH IS TAKING TO PASS! :D

but it wasn't a merge in transfer right?

Errr, I didn't order anything else, just the mbp, if that's what you mean?

And no cosmetic damage found so far - woohoo. Only just finding my way round this little beauty, was pc owner previously.

Hi

I'm new to the board - but I've been getting addicted to this thread from a distance. I ordered a custom MBP on the 27th October (got the 2.5ghz with the 7200rpm HD) and also ordered an ipod nano and applecare. This is my first Apple computer.

Thought I'd join in the discussion, although I know this is probably a REALLY bad idea - I'm getting too little work done as it is!

My estimated delivery time is 11th-17th or October. So I'm not annoyed yet. My delivery status says:

Shipped to SHEFFIELD, GB 05 Nov 2008
Estimated Delivery Date
(Subject to change) 15 Nov 2008 (Subject to change)
Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer -
Shipment on Schedule 11 Nov 2008
Signed by

So I think that means I'm in exactly the same situation as millystaroliver, as it said 10th Nov yesterday (which is had said since last thursday I think). I rang Apple yesterday to clarify and they were reasonably vague, other than to say it was in Luxembourg. They reckon it should be with me within the delivery time stated; personally, I'm hoping to have it by Friday. If that is the case then Apple haven't done anything wrong in my opinion. However, I would like some tracking info soon...

Not sure this adds anything to the already enormous thread, but what the hell...

Donny.
