The old MBP in the pics has a bluer tint than the new one which really throws the white balance off. White balance is above and beyond THE most critical factor when it comes to accuracy. Yes a glossy screen may make colours slightly more saturated and blacks "blacker", but the truth is, a diplay that shows colours warmer/colour than they actually are is far more of a problem.

Erm, you are aware that this doesn't mean much unless we know which white-point/temperature the camera was set to? The very same screens can appear completely different to each other depending only on the camera setting. Not even the subjective oppinion of the one shoting the photography helps much because his eyes adapt to the enviromental light's condition (rainy? incadescent light? evening? morning?).

Hopefully someone measures the new MBP with some calibration equipment anytime soon.
