New MacHeist

Anyone remember what the last heist was? Was the last one the one that included WriteRoom, or was there one after that? I got in on that particular heist, and just getting WR was worth it.

Looks like a pretty nice bundle for the price

I have been looking at MacJournal and RipIt anyway
RapidWeaver is a nice bonus too
Not much interest in the others, but Clips could be OK
 
Kind of bummed as I held out on 1password 3 for a heist. Guess it's a good time to upgrade now. ;)
 
Be warned... RapidWeaver is not automatic
MacHeist has to reach a goal before it is unlocked and a code given

The front page says that about Tales of Monkey Island, but I didn't notice anything about RapidWeaver needing to be unlocked
 
I'm buying. No doubt things will be unlocked. I know of no other previous bundles that weren't all unlocked. I'll likely sell my MacJournal as I have it already.
 
I am thinking about getting this for ripit will I be able to put the DVD's on itunes? I need an easy way and this is a good deal.
 
For rapidweaver alone this is a good deal (when it gets unlocked and I imagine it will). I passed on the last one, but will pick up this one. I'm also intrigued by clips. Will be happy to give that a go.
 
Give it time. It's the first day and in my experience it leads to issues like this.
 
I'll buy this as soon as I find out if the Monkey Island series is tied to my Telltale account or not.
 
On a couple of these bundle/heist deals, when I've later gone to upgrade one of the apps I have had to pay extra to upgrade above and beyond what a regular purchaser would have paid. Its not always a "full license" -- its a license key, but the software publisher may treat you differently after the fact.

What apps? I've never experienced this. Specifically with 1password.

The only one I've heard of doing this is Yazsoft with Speed Download on MacHeist 2. But they eventually decided to give everyone a free upgrade to version 5.

whoa, whoa, whoa.

I got 1PW from MacHeist from that one time they were giving it out and use it everyday...but have been using 2.x as I'm assuming I can't upgrade into the 3.0+ range.

Could you?!?!?

I know I'll eventually need 1PW 3.x+ for Google Chrome compatibility.
