Does anyone know If the keyboard can charge the iPad while it is on it? Currently it is the opposite, but I would love to just plug the USB C into the keyboard and leave it as that.

yes. The keyboard comes with a USB-C port for charging.

Went right to the Apple app and it took 4 or 5 tries to finally get it to add to the shopping bag. Hit purchase, but then I stopped the process. I don’t need it right now, given I’m not traveling and won’t for likely another month at least. So I’ll wait and see what the reviews are - at which point it will likely go into backorder. Oh well, I’m excited either way to see how it performs.

i picked up two ( i know insane) but one for my daughters 2018 ipad pro 12.9 and one for my 2018 11"

Ill just return them if i dont see fit. The bluetooth connection on her current keyboard just sucks and im sick of not having one, especially now with ios 13.4. This keyboard should be a game changer
