My Prediction,
Macs:
(%100 Chance M2/M3 iMac, with USB-C accessories)
(%90 Chance M2P/M2M MBP)
(%70 Chance Base M2 MBP will get dropped)
(%50 Chance for a Base M3 MBP)
iPad: (Less Likely)
(%30 Chance for iPad Air 6, and iPad 11)
(%10 Chance for iPad Mini 7)
There will be around 4-5 products announced at the event, making the event around an hour, it will start with the iPad refreshes quickly before moving on to the Macs and the M3.
(1% Chance M3U powered Tim Cook Pro)

Another proof that Timd does NOT uses the products he sells…

No duh, we've already seen all the desktop Macs at Apple Park use Magic Trackpad instead. There's no reason to use the Magic Mouse over an ergo gaming mouse or the trackpad other than you want a smooth touchscreen scroll on a mouse, as well as carpal tunnel

I hope they leave it at the bottom just because this is the most asinine criticism of Apple out there and people are obsessed with it.

The Magic Mouse sucks, no question, but only because it’s way too flat. The charging port that gets used once a month, max, has literally nothing to do with it.

I predict zero other changes to the keyboards and mouse other than a USB-C port. Same stupid Magic Mouse going on, what, a decade -- maybe more -- without a change. 🤦‍♂️

I think it’s very likely he really does use an iPhone and Apple Watch. Almost certainly does not use a mouse with his personal Mac, if he even uses one directly much. At his level you have people to use computers for you.
Tim is wirelessly connected to Siri… maybe they are becoming one and the same. Maybe this will be their investment in AI. Siri has absorbed Tim Apple and become “Tiri”

Hey Tiri

MBPs already have the M2 Pro and Max 🤔

Sold my AA-battery Magic Mouse, because it‘s not ergonomic and bad for (any) gaming. It was okay, because i could replace batteries anytime with fresh loaded eneloops and continue work.
The current version with the charging cable on the bottom of the device is a complete fail.

Hoping for a complete redesign.

I just cannot get a good grip on the MM. It is the most awkward mouse I have ever used.

This is great, but why haven’t Apple yet added the u3 chip to these devices yet? It’d be great to be able to switch devices on the fly like with AirPods

Maybe they add a Siri-enabled microphone for improved compatibility with time-travelers from the future.

The port placement is silly on this mouse, but to be real for a minute, you only have to charge it like once every few months. It also gives you tons of warnings beforehand so it's very easy to just charge it in any downtime. If you don't, that's on you and anyway you can get enough of a charge to keep going in the time it takes to have a coffee.

Now the real issue with the Magic Mouse is just that it's an awful mouse to use. It's heavy, it doesn't really track particularly well, and it's hard to hold onto. Even the touch gestures it is supposedly built around aren't that great. No pinch/zoom, for instance. Honestly the ONLY thing the MM does well is enable very smooth scrolling.

But, Apple has a long and storied history of shipping terrible mice.

Always fun to have to look down to see if your mouse is oriented correctly.

Came out in an era when every PC mouse had a scroll wheel and right-click -- but this bravely had neither!

Remember this bad boy? Every few weeks that g-d little rubber pea would get gummed up and stop working. You could fish it out with a pin, wipe it down, and jam it back in again. Very fun!

I really wanted to like the MM but its just too damn small and that charging port location is dumb.

MX Master 3S FTW!
I used to use the MM but found my hand getting cramped up and accidently swipes. So I tried the MX Master 3S, game changer. IMHO, it will be tough to beat that mouse.

I tried the Magic Mouse years ago and moved to the MX Master series. Now I use the MX Vertical and won't go back to a regular mouse.

Its also not ergonomic. And yes, the MX Master 3 is the best mouse on the market right now. Its not fully vertical but its not flat so its inbetween. Enough to make a difference as your Radius and Ulna bones are not crossed (like with conventional mouse).
Apple mouse is a joke and insult to ergonomics. But we already know that Apple doesn't care about ergonomics

I really hope they have updated designs. There is no way they just swap a USB-C port on the bottom of the same magic mouse...but I guess at this point Mac accessories are just a cash grab for Apple, so no point in investing any R&D.

Also going to put in my prediction here - we are going to see a new iMac Pro with M2 Pro/Max. 27", display identical to the studio display. Starting at $2499.

If Apple produce a larger Magic Mouse, I'll give it a try. I hate the current one, it's just far too small and uncomfortable to use.
