Something for you to think about:

I went from the 5s to the 6s Plus for the nicer camera thinking the low lighting photos would be better, and the larger size thinking I would enjoy it.

As for the photos, I can't tell a difference between the 5s and the 6s Plus in low light.

As for the size, I love it, but only when sitting down and I can have 2 hands on it. But one handed, it is too big, and I have found that I use my iPhone one handed a lot.

Also, the rounded sides causes the phone to slip out of my grip all the time.

I was thinking of downsizing my iPhone to the SE, but it is only 64GB. So, I might wait until the 8.
I think I'll get the 7 Plus and exchange it if I change my mind. But I think once I get used to the bigger battery I'll have a hard time letting go.

If you look very closed it saids iPhone S, this article it's so lame, and people continue falling for the same bull. I don't know what the big deal is, wait until September. I bet one thing all this hype right now, and if Apple does not put the spesification people expect. I can hear already the complaints and baby crying.

Why is this rumour getting any traction to begin with? Think about it...

First, the Space Black rumor has been rumored for months now, along side the Blue color since June. Also, I have no idea why Macrumors is posting this article now, but this exact same rumor was released almost two weeks ago on various sources/sites.

This article is not gaining any traction, it's being re-hashed of what we already know. The only things gaining 'Traction' is the 3.5 Jack being deleted and lack of Refreshed MacBook Pro's.

But it is using dye, the only reason white doesn't exist, is because they havn't been able to make a white dye, which has molecules small enough to fit into the holes created.

Nope.

Thanks, I understand it isn't painting. White or something very similar is a possibility though.

Electro-deposition, also known as electro-coloring, is a process used to deposit metals/metallic compounds into the pores of AAO by electrolysis. Colors are generated by light scattering of the deposits in the AAO and from the interface between AAO and the unanodized aluminum substrate. U.S. Patent No. 4,251,330 describes a method for producing colored AAO through a process of pore enlargement using alternating current (AC) followed by electro-coloring.

It's using other metals for colouring.

i have a hunch Apple is going to release both a standard iPhone and a S model this year. The S would be released this year to eliminate the usual S upgrade cycle in anticipation for the iPhone 8 (10th anniversary edition) in 2017. The mockup rumors all seem to point this way. So iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus. Any wagers =P

 watch 2 seems like a given.

I don't think it's a 'Given' Being we don't know for sure of anything yet. I'm hoping so, being I'm upgrading my iPhone as well. I would like to see additional casing options. But if Stainless is offered again, I will happily purchase.

This looks great. The silver/white and space grey/black phones looks similar when looking at their backs. The new color would ensure there is no confusion and it looks to be closer in color to the black apple watch.

Black front w/ silver back and black antenna lines...throwback to the iPhone 2g. That is my perfect iPhone color combination.
However, it won't be done, so I will settle for this Space Black or the rumored blue.

It starts wrong right from the beginning.

He is not wrong, it is theorectically possbile to anodise aluminium white, all it requires is someone to find a way to make a white dye that has small enough molecules (which currently would require something like a quantum leap in technology).

http://www.rdmag.com/news/2014/05/hunt-white-aluminium

“It would require a quantum leap for this to be realistic. Together with DTU and the Danish Technological Institute, we therefore decided to take a different approach. Rather than using color pigments, we try to build up the top layer and design it so that it becomes white in the process. What is quite magical is that with this technology, the product is aluminium-colored before anodizing, but will appear white or white-like afterwards, without ‘white pigmentation’,” Jørgen Dam explains

What if they don't intro any new colors, will you still be as likely to get it from the 6S?

Nothing beats the look of that dark blue phone with a white face plate. That had class and style. Apple needs to rethink its look from dull blacks and grey!!!

A new set of iPhone 7 images have emerged online, this time showing a mockup of the larger-screened, 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus in Space Black (via TechTastic). Earlier in the year, a sketchy rumor hinted that Apple might be introducing a "Deep Blue" color option in the 2016 iPhone lineup, but more recent reports have clarified that "Deep Blue" will ultimately be a darker version of the current Space Gray, now depicted in today's pictures.

Although the Space Black images fall largely in line with recent mockups and image leaks for the iPhone 7, there are a few inconsistencies. The dual-lens camera bump on the iPhone appears slightly less raised than previous depictions of the back of the iPhone 7, and the mockup designates the model as an "S" edition, which has been lacking from any previous reports and remains an unlikely moniker given the name schemes of the current generation iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

The pictures also include a Smart Connector on the back of the iPhone 7 Plus, which, at best, has been an inconsistent rumor leading up to the launch of the new iPhone next month. More recently, mockups and image leaks have leaned more towards Apple's decision to not include the Smart Connector in the iPhone 7. The feature could also be specific to the 5.5-inch iPhone Plus, or a third "Pro" model.

Elsewhere, the Space Black variant keeps up with rumors of what the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will look like: no 3.5 mm headphone jack, two speakers (one likely to be cosmetic), and rearranged antenna bands on the back. Apple might be preparing an all-new, flush Home Button on the next-generation iPhone devices as well. But, like most image leaks, it's hard to be certain in the new pictures whether the Home Button is a new, pressure-sensitive option or just the traditional physical switch.

The new pictures follow a collection of high-resolution photos of a Gold mockup of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus that were posted last week. Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on September 7, with pre-orders beginning on September 9 and a potential launch one week later on September 16.

Given the proliferation of rumors, I think it's a safe bet that the iPhone 7 will have no headphone jack, a protruding camera, and the same tired design. That alone is reason enough to look elsewhere. If you need another reason -- rich notifications :p

This idea that Apple must radically change the design of the phones to make people happy is silly. Shouldn't you care more about the internal components and software capabilities? I get the concern about the headphone jack, but every other complaint is superficial.

And if you're looking for design variety from Samsung, prepare to be disappointed.

yeah exactly...Apple is doing like Samsung now, cause we used to get a new design every 2 years :)
let's wait and see, I still have hope that I will replace my 6s Plus!
