iPhone X New phone and new watch setup

I’ve never gotten a new watch and phone at the same time. Can anyone outline the setup steps to make sure both new devices lose no data? Thanks
 
Restore your new phone from your latest backup first. Once that is done, restore the watch through the watch app at setup. Should be easy.
