New Phone Dialer Thoughts?

SPACE is missing. Phone numbers with spaces are easier to read.

WP7 has that function.

iOS New Phone Dialer

Hate it. Much harder to read than previous. Should at least have bold font option and black screen option.

i know i posted earlier about this, but i cannot understand why apple doesn't give us SOME choices; i'm talking about GUI options, not anything deeper.

why can't we customize our lockscreens? icon sizes? or custom icons? the phone dialer? anything?

why can't we delete newsstand, or stocks? easy enough to have the option to download & reinstall them...

i love my apple devices, but HATE that we're so limited in our options.

Thought I'd ask around and get everyone's opinion on the single biggest (or most patently obvious) change to the Phone UI in iOS 6: the new dialer look. What are everybody's thoughts on it? Anybody like it better than the old one?

It's not that big of a change. They just changed the colors. A way bigger UI change is the new App Store. But anyway, I like the new look, not that I care much about an app I use so infrequently. The old dark blue look was a little depressing.

How about a phone dialer in Mac OS X? I'd use that.

Why was this changed in the first place? I find it hard to believe users were submitting requests for the dialer to be updated. If its not broken don't fix it.

Honestly, I don't care if the dialer is white or black. It's a cool change. But I would think the black dialer is more power efficient. lol. As if I have the dialer screen up for long periods of time.

Function has always been my preference. Style is secondary. It's fine.

Functionally the darker colours were easier to read in strong sunlight.

Other than that I'm not really fussed, apart from the thinner fonts making it look like the "1" is misaligned. I know it's an optical illusion, but it still looks distracting and crappy.

Don't like the new dialer, it looks like something you would expect to find in a cheap SmartPhone, the old on looks and feel so much better. Ot looks more proffesional!

It's the added padding around the call button that aggravates me. It's not consistent with the UI design.

The people responsible for this dialer should be fired immediately. I really question some of the design decisions going on over at Apple.

Bring back the old dialer, the new one looks like ****.
