Assuming this photo is from a real test unit, we could spect a very different back unibody on the final iPhone 5 (the source stand it will be named iPhone 5)

apple direct repply to me on mail said that these rumors are speculations! Or you trust some french design engineers who are putting out new design? They maybe hawe new screens, (maybe) but case design is definatelly not Apple! It just cant be...

No its an shell over the back body.
The source alleged the phone back is made of a new material non metallic, HAS NFC, no 3D cameras, CPU is an A6 768mb ram.
That photo I saw really looked like a shell and not an final product, not stream lined. The idea of something not shinny is always a good idea for electronics.
Your logic fails already with the 4S since it was not the 4th iPhone.
But I do believe you are right. The "New iPad" set a precedent.
Who cares about Android have started further ahead than iOS? iOS and iPhone helped Apple to patent whatever Apple developed on them.
User experience with Android may be better than iOS now, but time will tell who win the battle.
I gave them a slight pass on that because of the S after the four. So going from a 4S to a five does not make all that much sense. People like numbers, letters, something to keep track of what is what, however none of the Macs do, nor the iPods aside from calling it the whatever generation. I can see why they may want to go that way, iPod, Mac, iPad and maybe just iPhone, not sure if that is the direction they will go in or not.
Not that a number makes it bad, iPad 12? yeah, I can kind of see the reasoning behind that.
So more drilled holes on one side than the other? Is that what he's truly worried about? How often do you look at the bottom of your phone? Seriously?!?!
Actually, the Venti iPhone Talccachino is growing on me.

Symmetry has its place but unless form over function is the rule then it never made sense to make the speaker port and the microphone port the same size.
Speakers are simply bigger.
humm i like the "new" design. let's just wait to see how it feels in person. am i the only one who thinks that the "new" design makes the 4s looks so fatty and outdated? i'm diggin' the cleaner look, but the bottom grills are definitely a little odd. well that's still room for improvements.

Yup - I agree with you both. This is not something that would worry me at all. Just pointing out that dv8r meant asymmetric rather than asynchronous in his post.
Hopefully Apple will be sending out their invites to this Apple event in FIVE DAYS time - can't wait for that!

honestly I still think iOS is a better user experience than android.
the point i was trying to make was iOS in it's first incarnation was rather lacking, even compared to the dumb phones of the day. Remember the first iPhone didn't have MMS or exchange email
What has really changed since iOS 1, the interface is still the same. The whole phone design is getting dated at this point.
