Who says the PIC was taken from inside Foxconn or any other factory? Could be a guy digging through commercial rubbish finding a rejected part after eating a banana ... Or something ....

I think the price was the same but they dropped the 8gb model. Can't remember but in general tablets dropped. Some retailer offer 10-20% reduction on some models. Only price stable one is the iPad really.
Yes but then to its credit, it did get double the RAM, a screaming processor and 326ppi Retina Display, which according to Anandtech is a close 2nd only to the iPad 4 in terms of quality. Not bad for a $30 hike. The reviews, for the most part, have been very positive.
Not saying it wasn't justified, just countering the claim that all tablets are getting cheaper. Sure you can find white box no name cheapo Android tablets but you get what you pay for...
Lol, I remember seeing a post about the latest iMac before it was released.... one of the comments on it said, "I sure hope it looks like this!" And there was a picture attached that was the one Apple ended up using on the homepage when it was released. xD I still can't get over that...
Who cares? Is anybody truly looking to upgrade? My iPad 2 is more than enough, unlike Android devices with iOS performance has never really been an issue..
Kind of pointless to upgrade something that already performs well every 6 months. I use Android 4.2 now, but I have no problems admitting performance wise iOS has always been faster, so iPad upgrades are even more pointless in such a short time frame

2 GB of RAM?! Quad CPU?!?! Don't over-do this man! I mean, this is Apple we're talking about... they put in just enough to make it good for use. Not enough to make a good debate over iOS vs. Android.

What is good for you may not be good for others.
Also, please don't act like Apple doesn't have generational performance issues. Older hardware runs slower, simple as that.

There is no shock or amusement since 99% of the user community expected this design for iPad as soon as iPad mini came into existence. Looks like iPad has reached a stage there is nothing significant changes to improve the product beyond bumping up Processor Speed and Storage capacity. Like Intel and MS combo milked us for the last 10 plus years.

we all knew quite all,chassis is the same,display too,and that one above could be
the chip even if Apple is going to release an overpriced turbo one in order to ditch the real Gpu.
