Will try posting photos in the next day or so, but honestly, there are already good ones findable with a simple Google search.

Yes, the clear case is slick to the touch. Having used these for years I'm not bothered by this but if you want a grippy rubbery finish, go for a solid color. I'm not careless about where I put the phone, but in normal use (airline trays, desk at work) no problem. Anything abrasive (concrete, etc) will certainly scratch the clear case. Get a solid if this is a concern.

My only concern is if its slicker than my previous case. I had the Belkin Shield Micra which was basically the free one that came with the 4. Essentially a clear hard plastic. And I never felt that it was slick or anything like that.

Where can we get this? I live in the U.K and don't want to pay delivery charge as much as the item itself...! Anyone??

Floss or anyone else with this case - is the dip for the top and bottom noticeable? For me this case would be perfect if only the lip came all the way around and didn't leave bottom and top edge exposed. I would think it would be much more noticeable with the white phone. Anybody that has this on a white phone, please share photos.

I just don't understand why they would have designed this case with that dip which would also also dust and dirt in.

The dips aren't really noticeable. Fact of the matter is that the whole edge is still exposed and is a trap for dust. That's my only beef with this case.

I agree with millerhifi, it isn't very noticeable on the black iPhone but the .1m top edge (before it bevels) of the chamfer is exposed so it might be a little more apparent with the silver chamfers of the white iPhone. I wouldn't think it'd bother me though, it's very subtle. But yeah, there's a slight gap on the bottom and top where the lip doesn't cover so dust may creep in. PS didn't make the lip all-around probably because it would make the case extremely tough to install and remove, and people might scuff their phone doing so. Again, the material differs from cases such as the noot as the Air Jacket is more rigid and stiff.

After a few days with the case I'm gonna say the thing that bothers me the most is the recess it creates for the sleep button and especially the volume buttons. It's nearly impossible to use your thumb on the volume buttons unless you use your fingernail, and almost necessary to angle your index finger to press the buttons down (I have skinny fingers too). I'm guessing PS left the buttons exposed for aesthetic reasons, but it isn't exactly practical in everyday use.

Other than that, I really love the form and finish of the Air Jacket.

I agree with that most likely the reason. It's hard enough to get the case off as is, I couldn't imagine if the gap wasn't wasn't there how much harder it would be.

I don't seem to have any issue with the power button or vol buttons but at the same time I don't have much need to keep adjusting volume. I use the power button frequently.

It is very subtle on the silver chamfer one too but at the same time I know it's there and collecting.

Just installed it with the provided screen protector... loving both! I've never been a fan of screen protectors, but this one gives a interesting feel to the screen. One thing that has always bothered me with screen protectors is the dust that builds up around the home button and on the edge of the screen protector. Any tricks on cleaning these areas??

I ordered a smoke clear protector on Friday and got it today. Love the feel, it's very smooth, but not so slick it feels it will fall out of my hands. Looks great on my black iPhone 5. I've been looking at this thread for a while trying to see pics of the smoke on a black phone but haven't seen any. So here's a couple pics of mine for those that were wondering.

Ok so for some reason Macrumors is deleting all but one of the pics I upload. Adding new pic to separate post.

Last pic, from the side. Buttons are pretty much even with the edge of the case. No issues with me using the buttons.

Had to happen. I dropped my phone from almost chest high. Landed on my foot first then hit the hardwood floor. No damage, scratches or scuffs on case. Will pop phone out later to see if any damage inside but I doubt it.

Would like a smoke or clear one myself but are they prone to scratching like other clear cases?

Just get one! Anyone! :D

First was the original design meant for the Switcheasy Nude. Then I modified it to suit the Desmay case. Now I modify it again as plugs for Power Support Air Jacket. :D

May I know where did you get the plugs from?

I really wish they made a clear frost version. This thing is overpriced but I'm gonna grin and bear it due to the top and bottom coverage.

just to confirm, is the texture smooth matte? Or does it have a slick shiny plastic feel?

Thanks in advance!
