Had to happen. I dropped my phone from almost chest high. Landed on my foot first then hit the hardwood floor. No damage, scratches or scuffs on case. Will pop phone out later to see if any damage inside but I doubt it.

Nice. Could be worse, you could have dropped it without a case, nice to see it work.

Does anyone who now has the Air Jacket also have a Switcheasy Nude? How do they compare? I'm torn between the two and with the Air Jacket costing twice as much ($40 vs $20), I'm curious to hear from someone who has owned both.

I do have both. In my opinion, the Air Jacket seems to be much higher quality. Nicer finish, edges, etc. To be honest, I doubt I will use the Nude. My favorite less expensive alternative is the Photive Slim, but it is more open top and bottom.

Just picked up a black one from the Power Support Store in Burbank. Damn, this case is nice! Attention to detail is on point!

Just wish they had some English instructions . . . but nice!

The air jacket is amazing. Top notch build quality.

I originally planned to go without a case but when i got the air jacket for my gf, i decided to get one for myself as well.

Just to let people know, I am using this case WITH a back film protector in place and it fits just fine. I do not think it would work with side pieces on though. No way. But back protection seems to be fine. I have the solid black one. Like it a lot. Very precise and well made.

The volume/power buttons still line up correctly?

Is it still $40 at the Burbank store? Still seems like a lot of money to drop on a case.

This case really is made nice and the fit is super. But the cost of having more protection at the top and bottom is more dust collection. Still liking it a lot, but I am going back and forth between this and my Spigen Ultra Thin Air.

I got the clear today and this case is amazing. The fit is great. I have tried about 6 cases from cheap to expensive. This case is far better than any of the cases I tried. Plus the included screen protectors are the best IMO. All the cut out and speaker holes match perfectly. The case is very thing too and doesn't add much bulk to the phone. Only thing it's a bit slippery (clear case) compare to rubber coated cases I've tried. If you want good protection, a great fit, and quality this is the case to get.

$40 is definitely a bit pricey, but I consider this to be THE case for the iPhone 5. A $40 price tag is well worth it for my "perfect" case.

Anybody know if apple stores got these yet?

Not yet. Once you see it online on the Apple website, that means you should be seeing them in stores soon. That's what happened when they started carrying the InCase cases.

Can someone tell me, what is the likelihood of the phone being scuffed or scratched whilst inside the air jacket? As apparently you can't use it with back or side protection I am slightly apprehensive.

Thanks :)

I'm using mine with the back protector from Spigen that came with their Bumper case. It works fine because their back protector is super thin. If I didn't have the back I wouldn't care cause the iPhone doesn't move in the case plus I have AppleCare+ hehe.

How do you guys install the black oval "frame" around the camera lens on the back? Dou you just snap it into the place from the outside, that's what we have been doing on my wife's phone but it keeps falling off.

One more thing, how do you tell the difference between between the two shields that come in the package. I couldn't tell the different until I put then on the phone, so I wasted the first one. The second one I tried was the real deal, must be the one they call HD? But I couldn't tell the different before I put them on the phone.

No, snap it into place from the inside of the case. It holds it in that way.

Yes, from the outside. It will snap into place. You'll hear it once its clasped in. Doesn't work from the inside.

One is the anti glare and the other is the crystal film. You should easily be able to tell the anti glare as it has a grainy look to it vs the clear un-textured look to the crystal film.

Loving this case more with each day. The rubber texture of the black version feels really smooth yet has good grip to it. It also doesn't add much weight or bulk to the original form factor of the phone, feels very natural.

Not a perfect case but certainly the best and cleanest looking i've come across that actually covers most of the phones real estate.

I'm amazed that people would spend this much on a case that is identical in function to the $5-$10 Noot T5.
