I'm using it right now and it's actually not that bad. It's easier to read the time with the background turned off though. This is not very readable when only glancing at it. Not great, imho.
I tried it, too, and I think it is even worse in person than in the pictures. The animations make it even less readable for me. But maybe it's just me. Enough other Watch Faces that I can useI'm using it right now and it's actually not that bad. It's easier to read the time with the background turned off though.

I think several of the Pride faces are great, but I agree. We have a huge need for additional watch faces that are not oriented toward particular causes (however worthy those causes are). In particular, we need more watch faces with elegant clock faces but also room for multiple complications. Apple needs to either get busy on this or figure out how to open up the watch face development process to others. There are now 8 Pride faces.
If only Apple put this much effort into creating more useful and configurable watch faces in between the yearly WatchOS releases, that would be great.
Do not underestimate Apple regarding the watchfaces. The watch looks like an Apple watch. Just like a Rolex looks like a Rolex. Both are immediatlely recognizable by shape and face. Me too, I would love to play with watchfaces of my own. But from what I see at other brands and homebrew-watchfaces, I am not really thrilled.I think several of the Pride faces are great, but I agree. Agree. I have no problem with all those Pride watch faces, but give me more classics please! And while I’m asking: could I have a world time complication that doesn’t flip to edit mode the moment I accidentally touch the screen? Thanks? There are now 8 Pride faces.

I really don't understand why they haven't done a Watch Face Store yet. It would be a huge win, they can have an approval process like for apps so there isn't blatant copyright issues with people imitating Rolex or other brands designs.I think several of the Pride faces are great, but I agree. Lmao likewise, I like the design but finding it pretty hard to actually see the time (even with the dark background/background off). Squinting and/or changing the angle of my wrist is the only way lol.You know how you squint your eyes to make the lights on a Christmas tree stand out more? I can see the time easier when I do that here. Now I'll be looking at my watch like an old man. ?
Who owns the watch? Us or Apple? reasoning like that is just absurd. The even stronger point (I believe) is that the Watch, as a wearable, is the most visible device Apple sells and they (rightly) fear that a lot of them would suddenly look like **** if users would be allowed to leave behind the quite diverse, yet still (visually) coherent watch face options we now have, which may deter potential new customers, seeing those “ugly Watches“ in the wild, from buying a Watch themselves.

I assume, the ApOlex would appear instantly...
HiVolt, yes, exactly. And to axantas' point, Apple doesn't need to allow everything to allow something. It could even create a design competition, the winners of which get to list their watch faces. And as it has done for other such ventures, it can create strict design and interface standards for submitted watch faces.I really don't understand why they haven't done a Watch Face Store yet.
