I returned my blue innocase to radioshack... because I decided I wanted a black one.

I just received the black one from amazon (new version with plastic) and cut out the plastic because I preferred having my anti-glare cover over the logo, and not cheap glossy plastic.

Love the black color, found my perfect case.

Yes. I was getting ready to get it from the guy on ebay. I like the one you have. And was trying to get that one. And when I looked at the Seidio website, your case looks like the blue one.

Mine is definitely not blue - it's dark grey. I've gotten three from them (long story), but they've all been the same exact color. There's no way they sent me blue 3 times.

i ordered the fake burgundy seidio case from ebay for 11$ including shipping. my friend also has a fake and i liked it just fine so i didnt see the point of spending 30$+ for the real case.

the combo case & belt clip in amazon is that the new one with cover over logo

or is it still the old one?

Slimmer, better fit, more protective due to having felt on the back, less obtrusive on the border of the phone...

Just a better designed case imo

I have to agree with all of this. The only thing the Incase has over the Innocase is that the bottom is easier to take off for docking (if you care about that). IMO, the only reason the Incase is more popular than the Innocase is because the Incase is sold in the Apple store and places like Target. The Innocase is a little harder to come by (although you can find them at some Radio Shacks) so a lot of people don't know about it. If Seidio was smart, they'd try to get their cases into Apple stores. Unless you're removing the bottom piece to dock your case every night, I don't see why anyone would choose a Slider over an Innocase (especially now that the Innocase comes with built-in logo protection).

Just ordered the black one from the ebay seller khb_tx

I sent them an email asking if they had the new version that protects the logo and they never responded. The OP said he ordered from them and his was the new version though, so I guess we'll just support khb_tx...

All of the eBay sellers that I contacted that put that there's a film over the cutout in the description haven't responded, probably since they're unsure. I want to make sure that these sellers really have the newer version and they aren't just copying the new description out of confusion.

Out of curiousity, is the plastic on the inside of the case that goes over the metal bezel glossy or rubberized like the exterior of the case? If it's rubberized, I'm pretty sure the Innocase II won't have too many people complaining, like they have been with the Incase Slider for two years.

It's a great case indeed. Really slim, nice fit and matches the overall design of the iPhone, though it didn't have the logo protector (order from ebay user khb_tx as well)

It's sad however that I cannot say the same thing for Seidio itself as a company.

I have ordered two more cases, from their website this time, and although I've sent an inquiry email* 8 days ago I still haven't received a word from them.

So much for their automated reply system that says to expect a response between 1-2 days.

*Being in Greece, the local customs asked me ~280USD for the two cases (total cost $92.29) for clearing the items.

Did you order from khb_tx recently? If so, I'm very surprised that it didn't come with the logo protection. I got 3 cases from them within the last month or so and they all came with logo protection. I guess it's not realistic for you to exchange it either since you're in Greece. If anyone else is looking to order from khb_tx, definitely email them first to confirm that they have the logo protection in whatever color you are ordering. They've always gotten back to me when I've emailed them, although it may take a day or two.

I agree about Seidio's customer service. I emailed them about an issue I had with my first Innocase and although I received an automated reply, nobody ever got back to me. You're better off calling them than relying on email, so don't hesitate to pick up the phone - that's the best way of getting service anyway.

And $92 for two cases - ouch:mad:! Customs just kills you, huh?

Thats kind of sucks.

I guess if there is a lesson for case manufactures here its, get some great customer service. People are buying product without even seeing it, you better make sure your product is perfect before you ship it.

I made the order on the 7 of July. Apart from the missing protector, everything else was fine with the service.

Since you had problems in the past with Seidio CS then we have a pattern.
Here is the email I sent them FYI.

Dear sir or madam,

It has been 8 days since my email and I still haven't received a word from the Shipping Department.

I have to say that the above is highly unprofessional of you since the (quote) "Your business and continued satisfaction is of great importance to us" is merely scripted with no real value.

The cases that I did order have been returned (as I have been informed by the customs office) since I wasn't willing to pay the amount requested (~280 USD). That leaves me with no cases and a charge of $92.29 on my VISA.

Although the above isn't entirely your fault - pending response on why the items were declared of a higher value than the actual - it's certainly not reassuring that you indeed value your customers.

Personally I have a Seidio case which I have bought from an authorized dealer, so the aforementioned order was for 2 friends of mine that I have personally recommended for you. Not counting the positive reviews I have left for the case (which is exceptional by the way) in various forums.

Your customer service however seems to lack that very same excellence that your products have. So I will have than in mind for my future purchases as well as making this public so that other people are aware as well and decide for themselves if you are a trustful company or not.

An ex customer,

If I were you, I wouldn't expect to hear back from them. I'm sure that the customer service agent that received your email has either deleted it so that their supervisor doesn't see it, or has placed it at the bottom of his 'to do' list.

Are you sure that Seidio over-valued the cases, and that is why the customs were so high? Customs probably still has the cases, they probably haven't been returned to Seidio yet. Maybe they are waiting on receiving them before taking action?

I have nothing but praise for Seidio's customer service as far as help and information goes. Several E-mails were answered rapidly and they were extremely helpful.

I thought about importing via Seidio's shop but customs/tax would make that prohibitive. Seidio found me a U.K. distributor, who were awaiting delivery of the Innocase II.

Best case I have used, and I've gone through a few! No marks on the bezel or back.
Have the blue and burgundy... prefer the burgundy.

To be honest I wasn't expecting a reply. To my surprise though the CS manager did get back to me.

I haven't got a solid response yet, but he seems willing to help. It wouldn't make sense otherwise really.

I don't think Seidio overvalued the cases, as I don't see the reason in doing so. Plus I'm willing to trust a US company over a Greek one anytime.

Nevertheless, there are still 2 pending issues. The cases I haven't got, the 92 dollars I paid for them.

Guess they like you. Or you're magical. Either way, they won't reply to me! I've tried twice

I think Cue is the only person that's reported that khb_tx didn't ship the "new" innocase w/ protective film so far though.

Can more people post whether or not they got the new case w/ protective film? And what seller? Would be greatly appreciated...

I ordered a pink innocase II and holster from khb_tx and it does have the logo film. Just ordered two more colors.

How are you contacting them? I assume it's via ebay but you never know. The email address they always reply from is khb_tx at emobileinhand.com - try emailing them directly and see what happens.

I got the Black Case today. khb_tx who sells it on ebay does sell it with the protective strip. I love the case. The feel is great. I'm just upset I didn't get it as soon as I got the new IPhone. It would have saved me from a lot bezel scratches.

I didn't know it completely covered the bezel. And the protective Iphone logo script is great. Its done very well. You can barely tell its there.

Big Props to the thread starter for letting me know about this case. And where to get at a good price.
