Big Props to the thread starter for letting me know about this case. And where to get at a good price.
That would be me and you're welcome!

That would be me and you're welcome!I have a couple of questions for you though. What color did you get? (your pics aren't showing up) Also, is your case difficult to remove?
Yeah thanks!! I got the black one. The pics should be showing now. Excuse the crappy pics. They don't do this case justice
Is yours difficult to remove? I have the grey and mine is unbelievably difficult to remove - it's the only bad thing about the case. The weird thing is that I also have a black one (without the logo protection though), and I can take that one off very easily. I'm trying to figure out if I got one from a bad batch or if the grey ones are just problematic.
No problems at all. Just slides right off.
To be honest I wasn't expecting a reply. To my surprise though the CS manager did get back to me.
Unfortunately there isnt anything that we can do on our end to reduce this cost, it would require you speaking to the FedEx representatives at the local center.
I'm not sure as to why the package is still at the local FedEx (although I have some ideas which aren't really charming) since my last conversation with them was along the following lines:
FedEx: I see that you are not willing to pay for the fee. Shall we return the goods?
Me: That is correct, unless there is a change in the pricing scheme.
FedEx: I am afraid this is not possible.
As you can see I did try to reduce the cost, since I failed (and still do) to understand its high rate.
At the end of the day though here is what we have.
A customer losing 92 dollars.
Seidio gaining 92 dollars.
FedEx getting themselves a pair of great cases.
All the above is not good customer service.
It seems to me that we aren't going anywhere with this, which ultimately goes down to this.
and here is my response to them
Seidio did offer a 20% discount on future orders but still that isn't good if I've already lost $92.
I just got my Ash Grey clip combo and it takes a credit card to remove.
I'm not clear what the issue is here.
By law, unless otherwise agreed upon, the import duties and taxes are the reponsibility of the importer of the items (you). There isn't anything you can do to "reduce" the fee, it is assigned on an international tariff scale based on the country of origin, item description, and item material.
You want them to refund money for product that, as far as they are aware, you have in your hands and are just saying you sent back. It's not their fault FedEx still has them. No retailer will refund money for a product not returned in like condition--that would be foolhardy.
So what, exactly, is the problem here? you misunderstood the duty, want a refund for something that is not Seidio's fault, and are now saying they have terrible customer service for not taking care of something that is YOUR responsibility (the duty charges or the return shipment).
I'd appreciate it if you'd clarify.
You're saying it takes a credit card to remove the case? Interesting that you have grey as well. Did you get it directly from Seidio or from somewhere else?
Some of the Seidio sellers on Amazon are selling the knock-off version. If the "IPH3G" on the back of the case isn't all upper case, then it's the knock-off version, which is worse in every regard, as you would expect. Request a refund as soon as you can if it's a knock-off. It's suprising how many people have unknowingly purchased the knock-off version.

I just got this case. It's pretty nice, though the production quality isn't great. There is a raise in the rubber on the bottom right of the camera cutout. It doesn't affect images, it's just an interesting detail. There are a few other things that I noticed that are a little odd. The felt easily comes off, meaning that you'll get black or white felt across the back of your iPhone, which isn't a big deal, it could just get annoying wiping it off every tome you take the case on and off. One of the latches on the inside is a matte plastic and the other latch is glossy plastic. The inside of the case also appears to switch between matte and glossy plastic. I definitely have an official case. There isn't a problem with any of that, but it's interesting how much was overlooked, especially since Seidio got a chance to revise the case.
On the pro side, the material isn't bad and the cutout for the Apple logo is nice to have.
Out of curiousity, could other owners of the case rub their finger across the felt to see if any comes off, and are both of the latches on the inside of the case matte or glossy plastic, or a combination of both?
I also do know though that what they are offering isn't "customer service". It's just what you expect them to do. Like you stated. Nothing more, nothing less.
Does anybody have any pics of the pink Seidio Innocase they could share?
this is not the new one, and i actually prefer the older version,
