I don’t think anyone has the new Siri expressive voice slider adjustments yet.
It doesn’t seem to be enabled in this beta version, even though you can attempt to turn it on. Even in the UK, it’s all grayed out. They might have been better off hiding it until the next beta; otherwise, people are going to think it’s buggy.

Ever since I’ve had the new Siri enabled, the AI writing tools in text boxes is not showing anymore. Interestingly, if I’m writing something like this here, I can hold the Siri button and ask her to correct the text, even just highlighted portions and it will change the text perfectly, which is nice.

Pattern curious, anyone get Siri AI without iCloud plus? Anyone with 50 gb plan, 200 gb plan, etc… starting to wonder if you have to be at a certain level to get approved.

I’m wondering if comes down to a percentage of indexing. Which is how it’s able to work while indexing isn’t yet complete.
I have a large amount of iCloud storage, still indexing and still on the waitlist since Tuesday. UK, iPhone 15 Pro

Maybe a combination of how much iCloud storage, on-device storage used and other locations enabled such as dropbox, one drive etc?
I have 500gb in iCloud, 300gb locally used and some other cloud storages connected as well

I definitely feel like indexing has something to do with it. I’m still indexing since Monday - everyone I know that is done indexing is also off the waitlist. I don’t think iCloud+ has to do with it - I’m on 6TB and that’s made no difference.

I’m wondering that too. I’ve got a 2TB plan, and over 400GB used. That’s a ton of data, so it would make sense why I’m still on indexing.

I have the 200gb iCloud+ plan, still on waitlist for Siri AI for iOS. I did the terminal command to get it on my Mac (M4 Mac mini base model) and it works great on the Mac mini.

It’s odd though - I don’t see any unusual network traffic. It doesn’t seem like it’s downloading the entirety of iCloud, indexing it, and offloading it. I’d certainly see high network traffic if that was the case. It really seems like the phone is doing nothing but claims to still be indexing. No unusually short battery life, no unusual heat, no unusual network traffic. I really wish there would just be a “use 100% cpu until indexing is done” button. At least give me a percentage or something.

Yeah that definitely seems to tank my theory haha. With that theory out the window, I can’t make heads or tails of the waitlist.

I'm off the waitlist, but still indexing. I don't think the two are related. I think the more photos, emails, etc. you have, the more longer it'll take to index. I have OneDrive, SynologyDrive, and tons of downloaded emails.

Siri just loaded for our 15Pm & 16P but Indexing still in progress. Started 3pm Monday, 06/08/2026 or pretty close.

Siri seems to be very good so far.

Finally in!!
