I just had a notification about setting up talk to Siri but it just loaded a black page with a little yellow triangle. When I refreshed I went back to settings and I was back on “joined waitlist.” :/ Day 10 and counting.

Day 11 today. UK. iPhone Air and M4 iPad Pro, both finished indexing yesterday.

Edit: Joined waitlist 12th June

I installed the B2 on my iPhone and iPad, but indexing vanished on both devices. Previously, progress showed as 95% and 88% complete; now I cannot view it in the console on my Mac either. Have you encountered comparable situations?

And to EU users, I once opened the app by typing Siri:// in Safari to launch Siri, though I couldn’t operate it. Now it redirects to the App Store, indicating the app isn’t available in my region. Can you still access your Siri AI with Beta 2?

I’m on waitlist with iPhone 17+US App Store since last Sunday (9days)

There's a separate "indexing" thread where your first question has been answered. Or searching for "indexing" in the bug fixes thread would've showed that the console trick is now gone.

As for your second, if you're on the waitlist then you're on the waitlist. Accessing Siri app via Safari was a bug Apple fixed in b2. You can wait until you're actually off the list to use the app.

Are you also in EU?

Man the daily “Set up Talk to Siri” Alerts I’ve gotten the last 3 days only to still end up seeing “Joined Waitlist” are so mean.

For those still waiting, hang in there!

You're probably almost better off to get it now rather than in the previous beta because I can say that overall, compared to B1, it is so much faster especially for the non-AI tasks

Literally, no one would wish that. If you had Siri in the last beta, you would still have it in this beta. The models are still optimized regardless of when you got access. It was still good in b1. Just a tad faster in b2.

I dont know when I signed up but I am still waiting. Do you guys recall when you did or is there a place you’re looking? I am fine waiting, just curious is all.

I disabled new Siri because it was so horrible. I tried it again last week shortly before DB2 came out. Was thinking of trying it again, but it's not even being offered to me anymore.

I had done the same but have re-enabled now in beta 2 as somethings have been improved. I had no issue in doing so, maybe try restarting see if it comes up again for you.

Finally, it's my turn. Joined 6/11 2:30pm EDT. Off the waitlist on 06/23 10:58pm EDT

Finally got the new Siri last night
(after 10+ days). Used it a little with mixed results— mainly trying to pull up data from old texts. Indexing was still not complete at that point. Indexing finished today and I installed Beta 2. Not sure which was the key, Siri seems to find information from past texts better now.

I have never deleted any texts and I have archived all of my emails, so I’m betting the problem last night was related to incomplete indexing. All in all, the new Siri is pretty darned impressive.
