Nah.Siri is Worthlesss...
But if you're thinking of the HomePod Pineapple-Size as basically a Siri device, you've missed its point.
Nah.Siri is Worthlesss...
You can via an Apple TV and using ARC, works perfectly for me.The problem is still IO for me. I wouldn't spend hundreds on a speaker if I can't use it for my ps5
Yes, remember when other companies would copy Apple? Now it's the other way around. Thanks Tim!Such strange moves. As if they keep responding to the market instead of coming up with an overall vision. Not what I’m used to from Apple. Let’s see.
That’s what I’m looking for. Maybe this will help. 2 HomePods in the front, 2 minis as satellite speakers.I really wonder why Apple Engineers can't figure out a way to make the Apple TV communicate with 4 home pods for a decent surround sound experience.
They saw prices on eBay for old ones !Wait, wasn’t one of the reasons they ditched the original one because it was too expensive?
That's on you and your network. I have 3 OG HomePods, 1 mini and 2 Apple TV's and no issues, well an occasional issue, but no worse then smart things or google home when I ran them recently. My HomeKit is nearly broken since I think the last 2-3 weeks.
Every device takes between 30 seconds to a whole minute to respond.
When I ask Siri to control something over my HomePod, she starts by waiting and not replying... then she says "this device is taking a long time to answer....." and then waiting.... and then it finally happens. It's not even an intermittent bug - it's been consistent.
Totally drives me crazy that they still haven't got the hang of this ecosystem after 8 years. EIGHT. YEARS.
My expectations suddenly became stellar when they said the HomeKit foundation had been partially rewritten in iOS 16 to be more reliable.
And the sound quality of the HomePods. In todays saturated market of smart home speakers, I’m really hoping Apple brings something new to the table with this. When the original HomePod launched, the Amazon Echo devices were already well established and Apple came in at a much higher price point giving people little reason to switch ecosystems unless they really wanted Apple over Amazon (which as it turns out is a pretty good reason considering the privacy issues from Amazon and Google).
Such strange moves. As if they keep responding to the market instead of coming up with an overall vision. Not what I’m used to from Apple. Let’s see.
apple should add WIFI mesh router feature and it will sell crazy well
It will come with a new voice assistant named ALEXEI, who answers in a thick Russian accent.
Never discontinued.
It certainly felt like an abandoned product a few times, so I can relate.Could swear it was at some point. My mistake.
I hear ya. Early adopter blues.I’m really hoping my 3 HomePods don't crap out, but it seems it is a matter of when rather than if.
ALEXEI STUKOV.It will come with a new voice assistant named ALEXEI, who answers in a thick Russian accent.
