The video looks legit. But it really doesn't matter. Apple has sold over 10 million iphone 6 & 6+ combined. If the phones really bend then this will turn into an epic s*it storm for Apple. The die is already cast and in about a month we will see things play out.

You

I mean, I'd say my argument stands on its own merits. Personally I wouldn't characterize yours as rational or reasonable at all. It seems to be based on conspiracy theories, generalized distrust of any authority and a tit for tat attempt to blame me for the faulty line of rhetorical attack you've been using all along. Speaks for itself, really. My comments stand. You don't have a corner on objectivity and you should probably stop pretending you do. You're welcome to express your opinion but don't try to snow people into thinking yours is unassailable. It isn't. No one's here is.

This post says nothing at all. Zero. Facts:

  • Fact 1: CR test showed new iPhones perform terribly in relation to the older iPhone 5 and Note 3; and
  • Fact 2: There are now multiple bend test videos of people effectively REPLICATING what the original guy did bending the iPhone. The results are primarily the same where the phone fails in the same place. The hypothesis as stated by others is that there is a design flaw around the bottom volume button. Empirical evidence supporting hypothesis = strong suggestion there could be a issue with the strength of the new iPhones.

If everyone were like you, which a lot of people are on this forum, it's one personal BS waste of time attack after another. You don't say or contribute anything with that attitude. Focus on the facts and science.

Characterizing your opinions as facts and science makes them neither. Characterizing my posts as attacks doesn't make them attacks either. I'm sorry that you disagree with my conclusions but this campaign of yours to discredit me is really going nowhere. Maybe drop it and move on? My original point stands. Nothing you've said subsequent to it rebuts it in any way, shape or form.

Surf Monkey all you want to do is argue.

The post you just responded to are NOT OPINIONS. THEY ARE FACTS. My opinion could be that the world is not real. The facts in the post above are inescapable so get over yourself.

Evidently you're not clear on the difference between what constitutes a fact and what constitutes an opinion. Additionally, I don't "just want to argue." I've suggested dropping it on several occasions but you keep coming at me with insults. Once again: maybe you should stop doing that.

Of course they'll say it's fake and attack you. It's getting stupid already. The evidence that there's a structural weakness is starting to become overwhelming.

To everyone who is delusional enough that they can't believe it: post a video of yourself bending the phone in like manner and show us that it doesn't bend. Until then, bu bye.

Wow so when you intent to break something it actually breaks. Amazing what a revelation.

Now if this happens under normal use without intent to destroy it AND Apple refuses to swap out. Now then perhaps I start paying attention.
