thats april fools day right maybe its just a joke?...but i dont think apple would do that though.
Oh yeah, and Apple will also add the date that Apple was founded [April 1st, 1976] to every page on it's website, in the menu bar of every one of it's applications, engrave it on every piece of hardware, and for the truly Mac faithful, an option to have it engraved on their foreheads.

There were like 100 iPod AV fakes, and there was no iPod AV.
I think that if SJ had been able to negotiate the deals with the movie studios in time for the Feb. 28th event, he would've introduced the new vPod/iPod AV.
I believe it's ready to go, but that the movie content availability is the deal breaker. He won't introduce the new video iPod without movies to offer. Now he has a couple of more weeks to finalize this and really have a HUGE 30th anniversary event with the introduction of the vPod, a movie download service, Intel MacBooks, possibly the MacPod/MacPad [clipboard sized pda/tablet hybrid] and still have time to talk about Apple's 30 year history.
Even if the
other studios pull a "Madonna" and don't offer their content on the new movie store at first, I think Steve will just launch with Disney and Disney owned studios [Pixar, Touchstone, Castle Rock, etc.] content. Just like they launched iTMS with only 200,000 songs and the television episode option with only 3 shows. Look how quickly every jumped on those bandwagons.
That'll light the fire under the other guys' behinds to jump onboard or be left behind.
Don't forget that the Feb 28th event felt like it was cut short [it was only 40-45 minutes], it probably would have been at
least an hour. I doubt that SJ and Apple would've invited the press to an event if they
knew that they were only going to introduce the iPod HiFi and Intel Mac Mini's.
I think that 20 minutes would've been plenty of time to introduce the new video iPod and an iMovie Video Store.
I'm also expecting a new, powerful television commercial and ad campaign like the Macs original "1984". This one will probably talk about how Apple's Macintosh computers popularized the mouse back then, but that now it's time for a new way to interact with technology: Multi-touch point input.
BAM!!! Intro the video iPod and the MacPod/MacPad!
