I'm confused by this comment. Are you suggesting that he gets his AirPods free from Apple? I thought they hate him because he spoils all of their surprises.

He does, but he also is a huge indirect marketer for Apple (intentionally or not...) I would be surprised if he didn't get some perks. At the very least, his are deductible as a business expense; most of us can't do that.

Step 1- add a cord to safeguard the EarPods falling out
Step 2- seeing as we have this cord we should make use of it and attach it to something
Step 3- attach it to the phone so user knows where it and EarPods are
Step 4- seeing as we have this attachment we should make use of it by adding a socket so the cord can attach to the phone and we should draw power from the phone negating the need of a battery in the EarPods
Step 5- claim innovation and courage

And thus ends the design cycle and my joke haha

For a joke to work, its premise has to be somewhat believable. Unfortunately the one of yours is not since everybody knows that wired headphones create more problems during wearing than they solve. They are a pain when you wear multiple layers of clothing and they get snagged on door handles and the like constantly. In contrast, ‘looped’ headphones like BeatsX don’t have those problems and at the same time have almost the same low risk of being lost (as it turns out, wearing something around your neck like a necklace, is a similarly safe way as having something connected to your phone).

This man has issues. Either that or way too much money to care. Probably both.

I wear my AirPods 4-8 hours per day, including around the track for an hour. I have really large ear canals that don't hold them, so I bought special dermal adhesive strips that keep them firmly in my ears. Definitely worth a few bucks and I only have to change them out every couple weeks. They fit in the charging case fine. I've never lost any, and I've had them since launch.

What do you use? Been looking for something to keep mine in ear and always on the lookout for ideas.
