I'm looking forward to the iPhone 5S in champagne and white.. Now we'll have 4 colors for the 5S, and five colors for the 5C. and possibly an upper tier 128 GB storage.

That was kind of inevitable.

When rumors of a "gold iPhone" appeared, some people whose mentality I can't quite understand claimed that (a) Apple would produce a phone in the most nasty gold colour imaginable, and (b) Apple would stop all other product development and the colour would be the only change. They then took the opportunity to shoot off a barrage of infantile, often insulting, often racist, always intolerant posts that failed miserably to proof that these people had any idea of taste, style and beauty.

Should have been obvious from the start that Apple would choose colours that actually appeal to a large part of their potential audience.

On the last Mac Observer podcast they discussed this and came to the conclusion that its mostly white males hating on the champagne colored iPhone. That wouldn't surprise me at all.

While I'm sure that some others won't share my sentiment I just feel that all these leaks take away from the excitement of the keynote. I've always looked forward to the keynotes and while leaks don't tell the whole story I just wish there weren't so many of them giving away the secrets. :(

You could just not visit this site... ;)

But fair is fair, any news site copy/pastes Apple news these days so even if you don't hang out here you'll get most of it.

Anyway this is something that isn't going to go away. And it doesn't just happen to Apple either.

so sad

Some day like NOW, I wish these leaks were all to fake us out and the real product would be normal colors and a larger screen plus speed and other internal changes.
I simply don't get these plastic colors and where is a larger screen by now?
Don't get me wrong, I have been 100% :apple:Apple products since 1982, I have never owned a windows PC and have owned almost every Apple product made, including multiples of every version of iphone since day one, used for personal and business and converted everyone I know to all Apple but this is the first time I have been disapointed.. #whatswiththecutecolors

Agree.

Whatever, this year's phones are just re-hashes, no one is really expecting much anyway.

BUT... I really hope they get their act together for the iPhone 6. These cheesy looking colors and lack of direction is worrisome.

:(

No one is forcing you to own an iPhone (or a Mac for that matter).

Gold on white

Gold on White is ugly. It's wrong color palette. Gold on Copper/rusty color looks better. It' acceptable with Gold on Black, not white.

15 more days until the iPhone event. This was a nice video though. I'm sure there will be more to come.

The next one should be better choreographed. Maybe have a few dance numbers too :D

WOW! this is the best set of leaks i've seen on any Apple product!

Leak implies Apple does not want this info out there. Are we still at a point where we think these are not sanctioned by Apple and disguised as leaks?

Oh really? See now that's a bit more reassuring. I don't keep up with every tech company's upcoming product lines to the minute because it always seems to be Apple that's targeted with leaks no matter where you surf. Unfortunately it's hard to avoid the news on MR. Even if I bookmark on the forums someone is likely to post the leaks there as if it's important for them to get the news out before MR's front page. :D

I know what you are saying about gold with black working, but for some reason the (wrong) renderings of a gold iPhone with black parts just looked odd. Don't know if it made it look cheap or very 80s or what.. It just didn't look very sleek even though it makes sense.
The more I see this champagne with white, the more I like it. Will probably look even better in person.

The design and fashion world disagree with you. Gold & White is used all throughout both industries.

Man if that's a real color, women are going to be all over that phone as their choice.

LOL, you'd be surprised how many men will buy it. I remember when the first white iPhone was released. Every news article, blogs and forums swore up and down that it would only appeal to women. I see more guys with white iPhones than I can begin to count on a daily basis. Myself included. :)

Hm... That's a weird conclusion to reach without doing any polling... clearly the Mac Observer podcast is run mostly by white males.

I hope the graphite one is real.

Looks like an updated 2007 iPhone.

Same here... It brought back memories of the iPhone Edge, and how nicely that can get wear and tear. However, my fear is... (see below)

We need a video of that amazingly awesome looking graphite model! That is what I will get (if any) of the iPhones...

I hate to think that it may not have been real.
It simply looked like a black iPhone mixed with a white iPhone , or rather, the same backplate, but BEFORE the anondization process to make it "Slate".

We'll know in a couple of weeks. :)

Imagine: Champagne iMac or MacBook. These are for pairs hiltons and kardahsians.

Champagne...so 90's
