If Apple had an internal date planned and they pushed it back before announcing a date publicly, that's still a delay.

He's right. Anyone calling it delayed is wrong when it has no official release date, they said Fall, if it's not out when fall officially ends, then you can call it delayed.

well it looks like we have to explain, since people are simply not comprehending how something that has no official release date is not actually delayed. Apple clearly have changed the release cycle on purpose, that's not a delay. It's only a delay in random people's heads on this forum cos they're a bit obssessed by the device. Don't get me wrong, i'm a huge iPhone fan and i want the next one as much as anyone, but some people here are overly invested in the device emotionally that they're just not understanding simple logic.

Also, you said lets talk about the topic at hand, well the topic of this thread is "News regarding iPhone 5 delay" so i'm on topic, you're trying to take the thread off topic.....

well you claimed it's a ridiculous point, but it's not, it's logical and sensible, anyone that's claiming it is delayed is the ridiculous one. but i guess its too much to expect people on here to use common sense and logic and when this is pointed out, people jump to insulting the people that are pointing this out, calling them ridiculous....
