Next-Generation iPhone Parts Caught on Video?

Wait, if Antennagate was so overblown and a product of overzealous media, why is Apple choosing to change their antenna? Geez, I don't want to re-learn how to properly hold a cellphone again. Once was hard enough. Maybe this next one will come with illustrated directions.
 
White Iphone

Sure, It could be a Verizon Iphone, or even the design for the Iphone 5 (or 6) for ATT.
I think it's the White Iphone though. It could be designed for the CDMA network as well, being both a solution for the White Iphone and the CDMA/Verizon Iphone.
This is why:
The holes in the panels are now missing. The issues with the white iphone included leaking light. No holes, no light. They have closed up holes in the top and the bottom as well as in the parts.
Just saying, we expected a white Iphone and a CDMA Verizon Iphone. This could be both. But I think the changes have everything to do with the leaking of light.
 
I don't think Verizon has anything to do with these being pulled. If Verizon was so concerned about not selling phones, they would have issued responses to all the major news stories concerning the Verizon iPhone (Washington Post, Forbes, Business Week, etc...). Its interesting that neither Verizon nor Apple has said a single word against these claims....and this has to be hurting sales, as many people (myself included) are holding out before getting an upgrade.
 
Wow. Didn't they just come out with this thing?

I'm betting it might be the older model that didn't make it. Just saying.

Would be about right, if they actual phone releases prior to the 2nd showing of the parts... maybe its all they have and they know that it will be released sooner than later and hope it will drop before everyone expects the next update.

I can see it from either angle. I too have been holding out. I was with a crappy local company due to the fact that ATT has no tower near where I live, so I have been awaiting the Verizon iPhone bc we have awesome service here with them. I have recently switched back to ATT bc I have not being able to use my iPhone 3GS. ATT has opted to give me a free minicell for my home. They will have a tower right next to my place in 6 months too...so I may just stick with them anyhow. I'm so sick of this waiting game! If something doesn't happen soon, imma sell my 3GS on eBay and get an iP4 via ATT and be done with it...

I've been without a cell phone for 2 years waiting for a verizon iphone. There just isn't another phone I feel obligated to spend my money other than an iphone.

This very well could be the iPhone 5 or a new iphone of some kind.

Why would apple care if it wasnt a new product being shown in the video?

if it was an iphone 4 design that didnt make the cut then why would they care if someone showed it on youtube?

and to make it even more interesting...someone else re-uploaded the video and that got taken down too. Also the new mute button positions match the leaked verizon cases from a couple of days ago. I think a verizon launch is imminent.

Why not? Lots of other phones come with illustrations showing how not to hold them too. My wife has an HTC phone, the manual for which shows how certain hand positions will interfere with the reception. As was pointed out exhaustively last summer, this problem is not unique to the iPhone.

But, even more interesting to me is how you seem to know definitively that the design differences in this phone were intended to mitigate that so-called problem. Or even better, how you know this isn't a fake to begin with.

Personally, I'm waiting for the iPhone 6. Now, the iPhone 7... Nobody can get pictures of that, but I hear it's charged by the sun, weighs -14.7oz and is made of anti-matter. :eek:

It was almost 7 months ago actually.
 
If a Verizon iPhone is released before June wouldn't that mess up the release cycles? It really needs to have a dual CDMA/GSM chip (like the Droid Pro does) so there don't have to be two different iPhones on the market. Just seems messy to me.

The last time something like this happened, the had the LCD panel as well, so I'm guessing that's what we'll see next. I don't think they ever had the actual mainboard, which makes sense that Apple would protect it more.

Not if they decide to have 2 release cycles. One for CDMA and one for GSM. And why is that messy when every other manfacturer is doing it? I can never understand why so many people find this such a hard concept to understand.

Although I'm starting to wonder if the dual-mode rumors are true.

That post made me laugh :p Trust me, it has driven me insane a few times. But google voice has let me text friends from my ipod touch and computer so that has helped a lot. I am a frugal teenager (i know, i didn't think they existed either) and I don't like wasting my hard-earned money on crap. I have nothing against AT&T, it's just that i've had such a great experience with verizon on the entiere western half of the US (even in the remotest of places I had 3g, like in the middle of nowhere, wyoming), it would be awesome to have the best phone in the world, with the best cellular company in the US. Maybe i should write to steve and see what he says :eek:

Why is Apple so stupid? Once the Genie of out of the bottle, its cannot be put back in. By doing this, they give credence to the video/images and remove all doubt of it being a hoax. In a sense, their actions are more of the story than the video.
