The video is longer available because of Apple copyright?? Can anyone share the video with me please?

I saw the video earlier today, and now it's been removed by Apple..could this mean that this is actually legit? Then i'm guessing the iPhone 4 to the Next iPhone will be a 3G to a 3GS update.

Wait, if Antennagate was so overblown and a product of overzealous media, why is Apple choosing to change their antenna? Geez, I don't want to re-learn how to properly hold a cellphone again. Once was hard enough. Maybe this next one will come with illustrated directions.

Hehe, I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with the antenna. ;)
I tried holding an iPhone 4 in the store the other day, no death-grip or anything. Whlie in the stand it had 4-5 bars, 30 seconds or so after I picked it up, BAM, 1 bar.

Why is Apple so stupid? Once the Genie of out of the bottle, its cannot be put back in. By doing this, they give credence to the video/images and remove all doubt of it being a hoax. In a sense, their actions are more of the story than the video.

NO!! Apple has full right to do this as this has nothing to do with if the video is a hoax or not but the video contained the parts of the Iphone 4 (the one thats in stores and in peoples hands now) which Apple have fully legal copyright on. so showing the internal parts and the materials used is a breach of that copyright so they well in the rights to request youtube to close is down.

this proves nothing regarding weather the others parts is the next iphone or not.

Are you kidding? After the iPhone 4 is released to the public you can record it as much as you like.

Copyright is not necessarily of the parts in the video

Not sure if this has been pointed out earlier but the start of the video contained a still from the iphone4 launch (I recall it being a shot of Steve on stage). That still is likely to be from the Apple coverage. Hence Apple has a copyright.

Not necessarily anything to do with the bits of metal seen later on.

"This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Apple, Inc.. "

Gee does that say something? Especially since the older videos are still up and running.

I never said they had the right to or not to, just that by asking for a pulldown, they are saying it's on their RADAR, and thus there is something to the video.

There are plenty of videos showing internal parts of Apple products, and none of these have been the subject of a takedown. That should tell you something right there.

The video is no longer available to see due to copy right claims by Apple. That's cool. At least I was able to see the video before they pulled it off.

Whether the iPhone is legit or not, people are not allowed on claiming what Apple is going to put on the market by proving or with pretending evidence, it disrupt their market in terms of stocks, expectation, sales and business partners relation issues.

If you have a company you would and need/want secrecy you would be pissed off too if there's a leak or some hard claim on you head too.

But my point was by getting a takedown they are paradoxically increasing its size and impact. W/o the intervention, I think the story would have faded pretty soon. However, by getting the takedown notice from Apple, it implies there is a lot more fire than originally thought and will spread coverage of the story.

Before Apple, this was a poorly edited video using trite graphics, now its 'the video that Apple wants to keep hidden'

yea pretty much confirms something about it is legit. iPhone 5 prototype maybe, or the real deal. Although i wouldnt expect something legit this early, we still have 6 months until release.

Not sure why people are saying iPhone 4 prototype - we would have seen those months ago.

I'm convinced it's NOT the iPhone 5. It's just the CMDA version (Verizon version) of the iPhone and a minor refresh (probably to eliminate the antenna issue) that will probably slip over to the other model too. This is more like the 3Gs version of the iPhone compared to the 3G version.

Also... the video has nothing to do with Copyright, but with NDAs. I'm sure suppliers are under strict NDAs not to disclose anything until after announcement. Including channel partners like this company.

Full of Win... I get your point and you're right. Apple having this pulled draws attention to it. But, given they are close to announcement, I'm sure they are just trying like crazy to keep the cat in the bag as long as they can.

Since Verizon cant do voice and data at the same time does that mean that they cant do facetime? So would that mean that they would have a iPhone without a front facing camera? Maybe that explains the housing with no camera hole:confused:

Verizon came out and said that they are going to update their 3G network to be able to support simultaneous voice and data. Plus, FaceTime is done over VOIP and it's all data. So there would be FaceTime on Verizon regardless.
Here's the link to the article talking about Verizon being able to support simultaneous voice and data within the 1st half of 2011.

Camera?

Two things; first, its possible they haven't decided how the holes will be in the phone yet; it looks like there's a space for a camera, but they haven't settled on a design.

Second, a CDMA iphone will have a camera. The ipod touch can't do facetime over 3G, but can over wifi. The fact you can't talk and data is irrelevant to its use. You can just use the whole thing over data.

It's also possible the new camera part doesn't require a hole at all.

Then tell me why the other two videos were never pulled? There is an iPhone 4 and iPhone 3gs teardown video that have both been on the site for months. Why so fast to force removal of one but not care about the others.

I'm with a few of the other guys, I think Verizon launch is immanent.

Hmmm...
