Time to grab some more stock cause every iphone owner I know already has the cash ready for the next one waiting to hand it over

Europe

I want them to have it available for sale in Europe from the same day as in USA.

Apple needs to get those god damn new Mac Pros out before I fly to Cupertino and whoop someone's ass.

I am sick and tired of iPads, iPhones and iTampons and whatever else they deem needs a damn "i" in front of it.

Yeah...your sooooo sick of them you go to a forum to read about them...time to come out of the closet...LMAO

I don't like the idea of pushing the release date of a product forward. QC first, then worry about deadlines.

Take your time and do it right.

Been there done that. That's what happened with the iPad and there were 1000 apps at launch. Only a handful of those apps were from 'elite' developers that had the hardware ahead of time.

That's because the simulator covered 95% of the hardware features of the iPad. You are talking about things like the front-facing camera and higher resolution screen. I suppose the latter could be incorporated into the simulator, but not the front-facing camera or any other hardware-specific features like that.

Most Macs have a camera. Just add a switch to the simulator that lets you choose if it is simulating the front camera, back camera or both.

The question I have is, how will they simulate the unannounced continuum transfunctioner?

Sweet!!! I have no idea exactly when my contract runs out but I've been all excited since last year about what they'll be offering when it's time to upgrade my phone (why kid myself, I always upgrade when my contract runs out. I like gadgets too much and contract running out is always an excuse to go see what is available. Which means I always find something I like. Last time it took longer than usual cause there weren't any really interesting phones that didn't look super fragile).

Heh, I'm kinda with you. I love my iphone and my ipod nano is quite useful that I'd still not get rid of it if I keep my old iphone (once I upgrade) as an ipod touch. No replacing the small size and super battery life. But I'm really mostly interested in Apple for the computers (honestly I had to be dragged kicking and screaming to try the igadgets cause I was one who used to scoff at all of them, iphone and ipod, saying others offered much better features for less price. But, just something about the "ergonomics" just makes them so much nicer).

I've said if Apple drops their macs entirely, I'd probably be pissed off enough to just not buy Apple products (I love the computers and I don't want to be stuck with Windows as my choice. So far there's only been one tolerable Windows OS I've used, and that was XP. Haven't tried 7 yet. I suppose I could always go Linux but what little I've seen of Linux just doesn't appeal to me).

Doh, don't we already know that: "Apple today announced that this year's Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) will take place from June 7th through 11th at San Francisco's Moscone West convention center." according to:

<https://www.macrumors.com/2010/04/28/apple-announces-wwdc-2010-dates-june-7-11/>

Bizarre??

We don't know what day the keynote will be on as Apple hasn't announced that. Traditionally it is the first day,but we cant be sure.

If this comes to pass, I don’t think it will have as much to do with the early leak as it will to do with trying to steamroll over EVO’s release chatter. The pervasive rumor for EVO’s release dates has been June 6th for Best Buy and June 13th for Sprint.

Wow, that would be quick, right on the heels of the iPad launch, their busy little beavers out there in Cupertino!

I'm in no rush for a new phone unlike you other addicts!:p

maybe they're gonna fool use all and announce the second gen iPad!

I don't know, I think Apple would rather wait and have a special launch date rather than just release it immediately. It's a media event that I don't think they would pass up on. Plus can you imagine Apple stores immediately after the announcement! It would be crazy! My guess is they'll do a launch a week later like for the 3Gs and they might even pick a Saturday launch day like the iPad launch so more people can be there.

Give me a new iPod touch with OLED screen and one camera, and I'll upgrade day one! :)

Didn't Apple upgrade the touches when the last iPhone came out?

Online availability from their store may be a possibility, shipping immediately without the delay.

I doubt they will be available on the day of the Keynote in-store tho.

iPhone 4G Intro at WWDC

Here's how Steve Jobs will introduce the new iPhone...

Steve says, "...introducing the new iPhone 4G"

Plays the video clip of Jason Chen talking about and dissecting the iPhone prototype...

Steve says, "Any questions? Okay... Thank you all for coming."

Sure, if it does indeed go on sale at the time of WWDC it will most likely be USA release only.

Jobs will say that internationally it will be available a month later, then later delay it a further month due to USA demand, making international launch August. Woohoo :(
