Next-Generation iPhone to Go on Sale During WWDC?

Dream on. It looks like we are stuck with ATT for another generation. But just maybe next Gen will be open. We can only dream.

Of course it's wishfull thinking, and I don't expect it either. I heard a rumor from a friend of a friend (so you know it's gotta be true) that Apple will open up the iPhone to multiple carriers in December 2010. I wish I knew his source.

Apple needs to get those god damn new Mac Pros out before I fly to Cupertino and whoop someone's ass.

Very true. I know me and my roommate's isn't up til July/August. We got the 3G maybe a month after it came out. It was newer than I thought when we got it (I thought it had been out for a while) so maybe even a few weeks. Enough for the hype to die down enough that they had two 16 gig ones in stock at the AT&T store we went to (They were out of stock on the white and the 8 gig ones).

Although you are upgrade eligible at 18-20 months, so by the time of a hopeful launch in June, everyone who purchesed their original 3G in June of 2008 will now be eligible fo this phone.

I managed to lose my 3g about a week ago like a moron and an eagerly awaiting the launch of this phone because I didn't want to waste my upgrade on the 3Gs. I am one of the few who really digs the design. It's got an awesome dystopic type feel from 90s "future" movies. The future is NOW!

Sure, if it does indeed go on sale at the time of WWDC it will most likely be USA release only.

Jobs will say that internationally it will be available a month later, then later delay it a further month due to USA demand, making international launch August. Woohoo

Yeah true, i live in Denmark and i really want an iphone 4G same day as the US people get. Like we got it when iphone 3G was launched.

When 3GS get released we got it july 31 when US people got it june 22

Nope... well, not this year's model anyway. Word is that Apple & Adobe are collaborating night and day to get it all worked out (in a mutually satisfactory fashion). Hopefully, that highly anticipated model will get released sometime in 2012.
