It’s not going to get Face ID.Makes no sense to do so. Also, I want it to be affordable. I am fine with my Mini5. Just improve the chipset and add faceID and we're good.
It’s much more likely to get the latest iPad air’s Touch ID power button than FaceID, especially at the mini’s price pointMakes no sense to do so. Also, I want it to be affordable. I am fine with my Mini5. Just improve the chipset and add faceID and we're good.
This site is literally named MacRumors. It’s nice if they’re substantiated but for me, it’s fun to see all of them.MacGUESSES strikes again...![]()

Once upon a time journalists would actually verify their sources, but now they just post every rumor and hope something comes out correct every once in a while. All they are doing is feeding the YouTube guessers....
agreed - for smaller display OLED might be the better choice anyways. If this happens than in a high-end pro version, not the "standard" Mini.I think Apple would keep the mini LED for the Ipad Pro series. very Unlikely that Ipad mini will adopt it. Although the mini LED will not be a feature, it remains as a very anticipating product of the year.
YES!!! It means they won't raise the price!
This rumor based on nothing makes much more sense than the opposing rumor based on nothing that we heard yesterday.
I used a 12.9” for about 3 hours and it is eye candy on the eyes. It like watching an OLED TV screen vs. LED screen.whether it has mini led or not does not interest me in the least.
Not just 'what you want to hear'. But when rumors are 180 degree contradictory there is no value in them.MacRumors needs to find better analysts... you know... analysts that will tell me what I want to hear!!!
