So a random guy spreads false rumors that have absolutely no proof but you blame Apple?
Apple doesn't give a chit about battery. Can't you tell?

Actually, you were in after this one.
I'm trying hard to think of the benefits of having 3D tech on my iPhone and none come to mind.
Agreed. Do the right thing and ignore the noise.Atta boy Jony!
Screw longer battery life, making the phone less slippery, using a less pliable material for the body of the phone, and giving iOS a major facelift other than simply adding another row of apps.
Don't be distracted Jony by all the noise.
If you tell us we need an even thinner device with glasses-free 3D, just build it and we will come!![]()
in before "but it's not about making it first, it's about making it right",
That sounds really boring. This is pretty weird. 3D pretty much flopped I thought, because it turns out most people don't really care about it as far as I know.
I wouldn't mind this being a supplementary feature, but this would be terrible if it were one of the big marketing points of the new phone. They need to focus on a stronger chassis, more RAM, and a better battery for the new model and everything else should be secondary.

I think that unless Apple can show how 3D can enhance the day to experience of using the iPhone, then it will not happen. Apple doesn't include features for the sake of looking good on a spec sheet. They want each thing they include to be in service of the user (at the risk of sounding like Jonny Ive). Steve Jobs quote that sums up what I love so much about Apple "I am just as proud of the things we didn't do as I am of the things we did"

I'd like to see them go all out on 3D. Not just in the interface, but with front and rear cameras able to capture 3D images and movies. Something to rival Project Tango. And FaceTime 3D video chat.
Amazon and Nintendo (their 3DS console is now doing well but they've so much downplayed the 3D features that their latest hardware iteration doesn't support it anymore).Didn't Amazon already fail with this?
Sorry, you were too late to be in before that (some one already said those exact words a few posts above yours).
