yup 1/2 of my friends does not have the Data plan for AT&T, some of us rarely use the Data plan, we just need Wi-Fi, we work in Manhattan and take subway and then home so its 90% useless on weekdays, but I am keeping the data plan just for the hell of it incase I go for a trip haha. I also never had a data plan, I use wifi when i need mail or web, I keep my iphone for that reason, I have a fist gen.
