Regardless if the rumour is true, I fail to see any good reason for implementing iris scanning. This has gimmick written all over it.
I figured it would use the camera too but then I was thinking the front facing camera would not work well for something like this. So it's either going to be a separate sensor/reader or they are really upping their game with the front facing camera.. time will tell. You're thinking the iris scanner will be built into the Retina display? I figured it would use the camera.
80%?! Just by your statistic alone, that's a lot of dating.

Interesting fade. I guess, individuals like that would have difficulty getting an accurate eye scan for identification purposes.Half the girls I've dated in Asia wore colored contacts, and 80% had iPhones.
Imagine having to stand there and scan your eye, each time you want to use ApplePay. I think I'd rather use TouchID, I look less of a pillock.
I love people that make these nonsensical off topic posts about other products.Who cares about iris scanner... Where is my new Macbook Pro ??
I'll believe it when it sees me.I'll believe it when I see it.
It's so ridiculous. Oh hey, an iPhone post??? Let me complain about Apple TV's in it.Dear readers, moaning about lack of Mac updates is not going to make them come any sooner, so please, please stop it.
It's incredibly annoying and 99% of the time off topic.
Thank you.
