So let's see...let's count the amount of things some people have griped about. I mean, we just added another to the list. Hey! It'll be fun!

1. Battery size
2. What's that thing around the camera???
3. Battery size
4. Why is the ear piece round?
5. Battery size
6. The Nexus 4 looks so much more premium!
7. Battery size
8. Now we're gonna gripe about the bezels top and bottom not being equal?

Jeez. Some of you are NEVER going to be satisfied. Just move along already and leave the rest of us that really want this phone in peace.

Lord have mercy.

Honestly my only gripe is the battery size, and it's a reasonable area of concern. While I understand they may have decreased the battery from 3000 to 2300mah in order to fit components to a body the size of the N4, I'm still disappointed. However, let's see how the reviews turn out, 4.4 may bring some sweet new battery optimizations.

I would agree about the battery. They could of made it bigger. You can get 3000 mAh batteries and higher on ebay that work in the GS3 with the original back cover. If the N5 were at least 2600....that would be ok. Its just that the G2 has that 3000.

Yea agreed. It's a slap in the face especially because the G2 has that nice 3000mah battery lol.

the N5 is 2 mm shorter than the N4 and it has a bigger screen..

I saw a thread over at XDA with people who have already received their Spigen N5 cases and they placed their N4's into the case and the case was actually taller than the N4. Not sure what to think..

Ha... maybe Google's idea of "security" is to just release a bunch of random but plausible leaks to throw everyone off.

If leaks can't be 100% prevented, why not manipulate it so that it works for you?

Imagine if this was Google's plan all along? It'd be brilliant if true. :p

That doesn't surprise me. I have seen some pictures too, but the size increase looks fairly minimal. I am just hoping the increase is 100% screen and no bezel increase. If I remember correctly, the new Nexus 7 actually has slightly larger bezels on the top and bottom. Multiple people said this is because it is supposed to be used in landscape, despite everyone I see use it in portrait. With the Nexus 5, Nexus on the back is printed in landscape, so maybe they are doing the same thing.

Set for released date of November 1. Will be available in White and Black

I feel like Google would have said something if it was going to be on the 1st. That's like what? 5 days away. I'm sure they'll hold some kind of event. Especially since they're releasing new hardware and a new O.S. I doubt it will be something that just shows up in the play store ready to order at midnight. It just wouldn't make sense.

I think it'll be announced before it is available on the Play Store, but I don't think there will be an event. We would have heard something about an event by now if there was going to be one. All signs point to no event.

any chance this phone will come in a 64GB model? I like taking a lot of photos and keeping some music on the phone for commutes. I'd rather not carry 2 devices. one phone and one music player.

I doubt it. They are making it bigger this year with a 32GB version. Didn't have one last year.

Agreed. And that tweet just gives a date. How do we know that's not the date of an announcement?

Exactly.....How do you know it is not?

I don't, nobody (save for maybe Evleaks) does. Just agreeing with TacticalDesire that I don't think Google would all of a sudden selling a new Nexus phone without some type of announcement in just 5 days.

We will certainly known in a few days.

Well, I'm starting to think this thread (and the phone) may have jumped the shark. I think we've talked about all we can talk about, seen everything there is to see, and speculated until we're all blue in the face. :D

Of course, as soon as there's a tiny bit of news, we'll all be racing back here to post it or see it posted. :p

(On a side note, I can't help but sit here and wonder how many people are going to see the term "jumped the shark" in my first sentence and have no idea what that means or what it references. Damn, I'm getting old...LOL).

Genuinely curious: is there a reason why Google's white phones aren't fully white? Has anyone from Google ever answered that question in any capacity? Whether on Twitter or in an interview or anything...?

Is it purely to keep that sleek black front faceless look? Or is there more reasoning behind it?

I remember reading an article that said it had something to do with compatability with the sensors and white front. I believe Apple said the same about the white iPhone 4 being delayed months after the launch of the black. I don't know how credible that is but it's the only plausible explanation I've ever seen.
