Imagine there really is a new Nexus 4 with LTE. I mean new-new. Like a slight redesign (thus the FCC filings that had similar Nexus 4 dimensions) that gets rid of the glass and looks more akin to its big brother, the Nexus 5.
And a Nexus 5 with the larger specs we've been seeing and hopefully larger battery?

It might explain all the variations of leaks we keep seeing. Not to mention, there's already been a leak that said specifically that the Nexus 4 would be resold with LTE.

If that happened, and there was enough of a price difference, I might just have to pick up the Nexus 4 LTE instead. I loved that phone, and the screen size was perfect. The only reason I'm going with the Nexus 5 is because the Nexus 4 was way to slippery and Nexus devices (to me) are the way to go.
I'm a bit scared of the screen size though. The bezel + on screen keys should make typing more comfortable though. When I had an S4 I hated typing. The bottom bezel was way to small and it was uncomfortable to hit the space bar. That basically ruined 5" phones in my mind, but the leaks look like that chin on the phone might make it all better.
Have you ever heard the saying, when you hear hoofbeats, think of horses not zebras? There is not going to be a new Nexus 4. The most likely explanation for the inconsistent leaks are errant information and wishful thinking.
Not to mention it lingering still, the N4 I mean, on the Play store with the "coming soon" teaser. Well it seems like the sales of the Nexus 4, when they reduced the price, took Google by surprise as it's been out of stock for a month and a half now. Maybe they didn't foresee this and because of this demand, they're reintroducing it at that price.

i literally hit B all the time on my S4 instead of space bar. It really is frustrating. Come onnnnn Nexus 5!
i can not wait to switch from iphone 5 to this new device. miss android so much lol tablet ill get ipad air and ill bet set

I'm still waiting to see battery life so glad some here are prepared.
Considering last year I didn't get mine till December 31st, yes I would love to get one ordered on day one
I doubt/highly doubt that there will be a new nexus 4 (LTE) device, all the leaks so far show that there is a new redesigned Nexus sporting 4.4 KitKat and LTE , The price leaked twice now on Google Play initially here in the states and some Dutch website pretty much confirming the entry Model 16GB for $349
I can't wait to order this phone, even though truth be told my Nexus 4 device has been running flawlessly since purchases ( Launch date 2012) my only issue with the Nexus 4 was it's camera other than that it has been the perfect snappy device that I hoped it would be and gave me a great excellent experience with Android ( my first Android device) I still own a MacBook Air, iPad and an Apple TV , but I can't see myself giving up Nexus Devices/stock Android , sure some apps aren't available in the PlayStore , the Apple App store is superior plenty of sharp beautifully designed apps that run quite well on iOS devices, still I can live with a Mix of both worlds Android and iOS

Ah yes, the voice of reason. People keep trying to force the leaks to fit into some fairy tale story or personal fantasy. The most likely possibility is just inconsistent information that has been leaked.
If a new Nexus 4 is going to come out, we would likely have heard more about it. All we've really heard about it so far is just a few little whispers.

Relax. In my posts about the nexus 4 there were key words like "maybe" and "imagine" and "might". No one is forcing anything. We're discussing rumors like everyone else.
If you go back in this thread far enough I myself said I find the nexus 4 re-release rumors fake. For the most part I still do. But that doesn't mean we can't talk about them.
No one is "forcing" any narrative into any fantasy fairytale. Take it easy, captain.
I hope its either tomorrow or Friday. If not then I'll probably be in school when it drops and miss it!

What are the odds of the Nexus 5 being available in Best Buy on day one so people have the chance to fondle it in the flesh?
i don't think they got it on launch last year, and i'd be a bit surprised if they did this year. if all you're looking for is to fondle the device, however, i think your best bet might be at a t-mobile store.
