Folks, take a walk, go for a run, go do some work...the phone will get here soon. And when it does, we'll all get one within a reasonable time frame. Let's remember what it is in the end...a phone. It's not life and death.

I'm actually glad google is taking their time in announcing this device. take a look at the nexus 4 thread from last year. i was lucky enough to get my phone by the end of november. other people were waiting months. hopefully i'll get this one sooner.
I think the Nexus is the only phone that really makes me want to go to Android from the iPhone. Something about it.
WIND Mobile lists the size as 137.84 x 69.17 x 8.59. That is close to the size of the LG G2, but a hair thinner.

Wow - that's so close to the size of the G2 as to be essentially indistinguishable from any distance whatsoever. Nice size.
Whaaaat? I was hoping the FCC size leaks were true -- closer to the Nexus 4 size. Dangs. I do find the G2 size believable. It looks more akin to what was leaked in that original Google video.
If it's the size of the G2 with a 2300 mAh battery, there will be a lot of questions.

Honestly, the mystery surrounding the real details of this device are incredibly elusive. We should really take a moment to realize that we honestly have no solid clue to a few key specifications about this device. In particular, the size of this device is so far ranging.
If all these varying leaks were orchestrated by Google, you have to really appreciate their game plan here. Not just on a marketing level, but also on a secrecy level. Like I said, if you can't stop leaks 100%, why not use them to your advantage and leak a ton of different, but equally plausible, info? It would be brilliant. I hope light is shed on this post-release, whether Google orchestrated all these leaks or not, starting with that original video that started it all.
Or, maybe there are multiple Nexus devices coming our way, thus such a varied range of leaks? Weren't there code names for like four different Nexus devices? Or is that another leak to throw people off?

I too hope it keeps the smaller form factor. If not I may look at the moto x or even a Lumia just for the camera

So then what the heck was the device that went through the FCC?
Wait so the FCC filings had the wrong dimensions? How is that possible? I suspected they weren't real after seeing the renders, but I don't understand why there would be a discrepancy. The only good that can come from this is if the battery ends up being larger than the 2300 (also listed in the FCC filing).
I think the size is clear now that the cases are available.

The only thing I've seen that mentioned a possible 64GB was this blog, & I figured it was highly speculative since no other sites were saying the same thing:
