Nexus 7 disappointment

I'm proud to say my note 3 with stock disgusting TouchWiz does not lag.

Note 3 is one of the more common phones to have lag. A huge topic on Android about it. So I know for a fact you don't know what lag is.

I also owned that phone and lag was the reason I got rid of it for the m8.

There's no point in arguing about lag. Someone can look at a phone and says it doesn't lag. Another person can look at the same phone and says it does. It depends on what they're used to. If they're used to slow ass devices, then they probably won't even notice a stutter here or there. Also, there are people on the Internet that will defend their device like it's their baby. So you should pretty much take everyone's word about device lag with a grain of salt. I had so many people tell me that their 1st gen nexus 7 didn't lag after months of use, and it was sooo fast. Yeah, BS.

I have a Nexus 7, with stock Android 4.4.2, it is the device I'm using in this exact moment. I'm quite satisfied, and I'm probably using it more than my iPad. But it DOES LAG, much more than my iPad Air.
And I have two Galaxy with the ridiculous touchwiz (that I definitely DON'T LIKE), and they lag much more than the Nexus 7.

Can you charge it without the special connector? Can you transfer files on and off of it without specialized software? Admittedly, these are not major issues, but knowing i can get a movie/song/whatever file on and off of the tablet in a jiffy wherever i go does give it a little more versatility.

Special connector? it is a mini usb....compared to apple's connectors it is much more common

special software? it is free and lightweight....compared to using iTunes for everything with an iPad

Is sense 6 much better?

Sense 6 is MUCH better IMO than touchwiz, at least JB touchwiz that I was using on my Note 3, really havent played around much with the new KitKat version. But to me the new Sense is right up there with stock android and Moto's version of android. Really nice looking, fast, and smooth.

As for lag, all devices lag, even my iPhone 5S and iPad Air can lag from time to time, so it weird when people say their devises never lag, unless they just never push it I don't see how anyone can say that. That being said the latest iPhone has always been the fastest and smoothed with least amount of lag every year. Part of that though is because of the way its designed, it limits how much you can push it so it can keep that buttery smooth operation where as android let's you do wgat ever you want, even if that push the hardware to start lagging. Eventually they'll come to a meeting point, as the hardware gets more powerful apple adds features that pushes it forward while android get more powerful hardware and starts to smooth things out. Even touchwiz will one day be smooth, it'll just have to wait until the hardware is powerful enough to sustain it.

BTW, my M8 is the fastest and smoothest expierence I have ever had on android, and its right up there with my iPhone 5S as far as performance is concerned. Really excited to see what the iPhone 6 has to offer and how apple will push the A8 with new features in iOS 8.
