Just because it sells better doesn't mean it's better.

Refer to the part of the post that you seemed to have conveniently ignored.
There's more than money involved in proving what's considerably better, such as the user experience (perhaps the most important) and the iPhone has done an impressive job there.

By the end of the day... The real number would be ..... $!

There are endless list of "iPhone killer" with big numbers & figures ... But what happened to all of them?!

People speak with their $ ... & customer satisfactions for the iPhone.

Enough said.

LOL, a 4.6" screen on a phone?

You may as well be carrying around a TI calculator in your pocket.

But it fits!!!!

Bigger screen with inferior density and crispness... Woohoo...

----------

That is not the same thing at all.

----------

Yeah what that said in a round about way is that all these devices will be slower than the iPhone 4S.

Not surprising but it is kind of silly when the only advantage Android phones have are hardware specs and they don't really even carry those any longer.

Wake me up when Samsung has a decent screen on the phone. Nexus screen good, it is big and Amoled. Wow! Actually, wait to wake me up until they find a decent GPU.
LOL, well fine then. Nobody is begging you to buy anything s go be happy with your 4GS with the same look and same screen. Persoanlly i think the prime blows away the 4GS but im not a fanboy and dont care what you or anyone else buys. Please yourself.

Oh and the Nexus Prime will have a 1.5 Ghz dual core processor, not a 1.2.

----------

I never said that. You are misquoting me and that was somebody else.

Wrong, the OP said it had a 1.2 GHZ dual core processor and it has a 1.5 dual core. It also has a 8MP camera where it was stated it had a 5 MP camera. Try to keep up.
your so confused. GHZ Don't matter, not even for CPU performance. Bigger lower density screen is not in any way better, especially on a phone. Few honest people would look at he screens on the S2 and the iPhone 4 today and think the S2 is in anyway better.
Just because it sells better doesn't mean it's better.

Really? So what is your criteria for better.

- Screen size, you just ignore usability and pixel density
- GZhZ? Lol really, the 4S will dust anything that will go in an Android phone or another 12 months. It is more than CPU GZhZ. What about the GPU? How well is the OS optimized for the CPU? What about the apps?

----------

This has been pointed out to marksman directly about 2 or 3 times in this thread alone. It's also been pointed out that the rumoured GPU is the same one used in the iPad 2.

The guy/gal either has some serious reading comprehension problems, selective reading to the point of ignorance, and/or is just too lost in fanboy fantasy world to pay any attention to it.

Lol, use the word rumor a lot? We know what the A5 is and how well it performs in iOS. All your rumors combined don't add up to better performance on this minitab with a low-res screen.

----------

Don't be using Siri as ammunition against Andriod, after all, they've had it for a year. Ok, Siri might be slightly better, but still.

I forgot to add lol at your "slightly". And even the better. That is not anything like the same thing.

Specs on the Prime look sick but IMHO it's all about a combination of hardware AND software. I checked out the Samsung Galaxy S II at the AT&T store the other day and while it certainly has the best specs of all the US phones right now, I feel that the Android software still feels clunky on the phone. So what good are the specs without good software integration. iOS is silky smooth in my opinion and I felt the IP4 ran much better than the SGSII.

Of course this is just my opinion, I'm a tech geek at heart, love all gadgets but right now the combo of the IP4 (soon 4S wooohoooo) AND iOS provide me with an unmatched user experience.

So u think the 4S will "dust" as u put it..,any android phone in the next 12 months???.....ummm i do believe the SGS3 is coming with a 2.0ghz quad-core cpu....hmm think u might be wrong mate...lol

Am I not on macrumors.com? Sue me for talking about rumors...

How about you just stop pushing out your Apple propaganda until the Prime and SGS3 are released? Otherwise you're just speculating that the iP4S is better than them.

And what's another word for speculation???

RUMOR!!!! :eek::eek:

Thanks for your input fanboy

Apparently, the only ammunition for apple drones to use against Nexus is the A5 chip. Which is considered absolutely pointless UNLESS you play graphically demanding GAMES on your phone.

I play my games on a god damn handheld systems, not on a god damn phone. Not to mention, there aren't even that many phone games out there that puts any gpu chips on strain.

Good ****ing riddance.

Will the Prime have a piece of paper for a battery cover like the SGII?

If you think the GPU on the iPhone is only used for games then…

Yes, which doesnt shatter into 1,000 pieces when you drop it and then when you put a case on it, your good to go. The glass will still be there under your case. A bad idea that i guess Apple thought wasnt worth fixing on the 4GS.
Seriously....this is such a lame arguement by fanboys. At least Android users can change the battery or get a bigger one if they want without sending it someplace and have Apple charge you $100.

I have yet to damage my 16 month old iPhone 4 ;) I also haven't had the need to change the battery. It lasts considerably longer than any Android phone.

How many people have had to replace the "piece of paper" when they've dropped their phones compared to the glass back of their iPhone?

I prefer the iPhone's design but I don't see the issue with the SGII cover.

I guess I should replace my Waterford Crystal with paper cups…just in case, ya know.

Whats with the 5MP camera?

I'm sure this is the point where Android lovers say if they want a camera, they will just buy a standalone camera instead.

I don't take poster size pictures so 5mp phone is fine with me

I've dropped my iPhone 4 many times. The glass never shattered and my battery never fell out.

wow 4.6 screen... that is going to be a pretty large device.

I'd probably have to carry that in my briefcase.

But, but, but...it's HD!

Actually, it's more like:

But, but, but...there are supposedly no buttons to take up room, and the screen will probably be edge to edge or a smaller bezel around the screen. So, it may not be as big as the fanboys say it will be.

AND...it's HD!

AND...the pixel density is pretty much the same as the iPhone 4S'!

AND...it's Super AMOLED Plus!

----------

...if they mattered that much, then a 7 year old Pentium 4 would smoke most anything out now since they ran at 3.8Ghz.

I didn't say they mattered that much, I just said it's dumb to say that they don't matter at all.
