Jason Taylor to the Jets seems so weird, after the guy totally trashed the organization and its fans... and publicly stated he hated the Jets lol. I wonder how the fans react to him. Lets hope he has a good season otherwise it could get really ugly. I think he even lashed out at the New York media once lol... should be interesting.

As mentioned above, the Jets are going all out this year. Hell, they fell one game shy of the SB. The fans will love him the first time he puts a QB on his ass. Fans at Jets board seem to like the move.
Rex Ryan on prime-time heavy schedule: "The league is smart"
In 2009, Jets coach Rex Ryan wasn't bashful about doing his best to talk big in the hopes of propping up an underdog team.
Now that the Jets are a frontrunner, he'll be more careful about what he says, right?
Wrong.
Asked during ESPN's schedule-release special for his thoughts on a slate that features five prime-time games, Ryan said, "I think the league is smart. They're not gonna put just an average team on prime time. They know what's up."
Love him or hate him, Ryan and the Jets will be one of the most intriguing teams in 2010.
Being a rams fan, I'm we excited to see who we draft. (hopefully Bradford)
I am surprised the Lions didn't take him, they are good at blowing picks.Hmmm, Tim Tebow to the Broncos. They either just pulled the steal of the century or wasted another first round pick.
I'm happy with the Eagles first pick. They have a lot to fix, so it's a start.

(maybe even pull a surprise like they did with Avery over DeSean Jackson)
Yeah, because that reach worked out so well
Elsewhere from the draft, I am enjoying theBrady QuinnJimmy Clausen free-fall.
All personal biases aside, Tebow was one of the best big-game players and team leaders in college football history. That said, as a professional prospect I thought he left much to be desired. Heck, the guy just overhauled his entire throwing mechanics a mere couple of months ago. It boggles my mind that the Broncos would pay as high of a price as they did to get someone like Tebow. Like someone said, they will either look really smart in a few years, or they will look really bad.
As a Dallas fan, I was extremely excited to see them get Dez Bryant. I thought it was smart moving up to get him. They need a receiver opposite Miles Austin and Roy Williams isn't that receiver.
McDaniels should know that he isn't Belichick...
Judging by the Patriot's offensive ineptitude last season, it's not totally unfair to say that Belichick should know that he isn't McDaniels.
Texas linebacker Sergio Kindle surprisingly didn't get selected in the first round Thursday.
Now we know why.
Several teams had Kindle off their board due to medical issues, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Chip Brown of Rivals.com writes that Kindle's knee was a "serious" medical risk that could require microfracture surgery.
Kindle also takes medication for narcolepsy and ADD, although we doubt those are major issues. Kindle is known for his football intelligence, but his durability risks was too great for teams to take in the first round.
At some point in the second round, we think the risk of his injuries will be worth the reward of his considerable talents.

I am too, being a Michigan fan. Brandon Graham is the man!![]()
I'm seeing perhaps there might be a a potential trade? If the price isn't high, there could be a few teams that could use a second RB? Houston could use a RB and so can Seattle but I think the off-field issues is hurting Lynch and you can find RB's easy in the draft.
The St. Louis Rams can spend today negotiating with potential 33rd overall picks, and they can also spend today entertaining offers from other teams for the first pick in the second round of the draft.
If they decide to trade the pick, two of the teams that are interested are the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Bills and Browns have already contacted the Rams about acquiring the 33rd overall pick. Both teams want to draft a quarterback, either Jimmy Clausen of Notre Dame or Colt McCoy of Texas.
Jason La Canfora of NFL Network, however, reports that the Bills are not inclined to trade up. The thinking in Buffalo may be that either Clausen or McCoy could fall to them at pick No. 41, or that there's a quarterback they could take in the third round or later who can be developed into a starter.
Ultimately, even if the Bills aren't inclined to trade up, the Rams are going to have some very good offers from teams that are -- probably offers good enough that when the 33rd pick is announced, it won't belong to the Rams
