Friggin' Chargers! With that many mistakes, you can't expect to win - even against the Raiders. :(

I can address this one. Dallas = ALL HYPE. Be thankful you don't live here as they are all ready calling for the heads of Romo, Wade Phillips, and Jason Garrett on sports talk radio. Cowgirl fans are the most fickle bunch of them all.
I was just talking about this. I believe romo chokes frequently and it'd be nice if they let him go. Not a fan of Dallas, but they should be doing much better.
What a horrible weekend of football for me. I am going back to baseball. At least the yanks are winning!

Great for me! Redskins won in OT, though I couldn't watch due to the Panthers game being on. :(

I actually really like Romo. This is really only his fourth year starting behind the center. I would give him a few more years.

Well, they'll find out next week ;) Then in 3 weeks time how their 3rd string QB is after the Giants injure Kitna.

I think the NFL is going to have to put in a new rule to stop QBs being injured.

By banning the Giants from Blitzing :D

Seriously though, 5 QBs injured, these O-Lines really need to smarten up against the Giants!

Nice to see the Cowboys season is done. Jerry says Wade is there until the season ends but I bet he already lost his parking spot.

It isn't the NFL's job to protect the QB, that should be up to the offense.

That's what I was alluding to with this...

They put in too many rules to protect the Offense when it, quite rightfully, should be the job of the offense to protect themselves.

Did you see the Giants really playing this well defensively after last season?! I'm really over the moon so far.

I am a life long Giant fan, but the Giants always give me heart strain. The Cowboys came close to winning that game last night. Kitna is an experienced quarterback who will now be getting all the reps with the O. There's a slew of talented players on Dallas, so I would not write them off entirely. The next 3 weeks will be major challenges for them As a wise 20th century philosopher once said: It ain't over 'til it's over." (see my signature)

I think it's over. Kitna may win a few, but it won't be enough to get in the playoffs. I see 6-10 as their record, if they're lucky. Me's a sad. :(

I wasn't implying that they'd win their division or make the playoffs, just that there is a lot of talent still on that team. Having said that, they'll be lucky to win 1 out of their next 3 games. But being a long time and long suffering Giant fan, I never take anything for granted!

I can see the Cowboys and Vikings both going 4-12. That might even be generous.

Kitna? Is he still alive? Getting rid of him was the beginning of better days for the Seahawks. What a huge meh.

Anybody else feel like the Falcons might be the best team in the NFC?
I know they lost on the road to Philadelphia, but no shame in that
And their other loss was to the Steelers

R. White had a monster game
M. Turner is heating up
And M. Ryan is becoming a top level QB
The defense is playing better

Methinks they might make it to the NFC championship game, if not the SB

The Giants are a better road team than the Falcons but they will both meet in the playoffs.

The Saints are still a potentially dangerous team and are definitely different with Bush-who may play this weekend. Falcons do look good but need to get a little more consistent as do the giants. Philly could surprise everyone-they scare me. The west is a waistland, but Seattle seems to be playing the best. And whatever happen to SF?? Man, I like Singletary but he may very well be on the way out.

Wasn't the 49ers the division favorite during the pre-season? What's with 0-5?

2-6 now isn't much better but at least we have some wins. We are down but not out. While there are die hards in Texas who still believe in the Cowboys, we need to keep up the faith. Nobody is killing it in the NFC West so there is still hope.

If the amazing San Francisco Giants can come in after more than 50 years and win one for the franchise, maybe some of that magic will rub off on the 49ers.
