Nike is discounting its selection of Apple Watch Nike+ watches by 30 percent, dropping prices by a significant amount.

For the 38mm Apple Watch Nike+, the discount drops the price from $369 to $258.97, while on the 42mm model, the discount drops the price from $399 to $279.97.

The discount applies to the 38mm Apple Watch in Silver/White and Black/Cool Grey. For 42mm models, the discount is available on the Silver/White and Black/Silver configurations. The 42mm White/Platinum and Black/Volt are not included in the sale.

It's not clear how long the sale will last nor how long the discounted Nike+ Apple Watch models will remain in stock, so if you're interested in purchasing one, you should do so sooner rather than later.

At 30 percent off, the discount is one of the best that we've seen on the Apple Watch Nike+ in recent months.

Nike's current sale follows an exclusive 30 percent discount that was offered to Nike+ Run Club members over the weekend.

While Nike+ Apple Watch models are on sale, no Nike+ bands have been discounted.

FYI models are :

Silver Aluminum Case with Pure Platinum/White Nike Sport Band
Space Grey Aluminum Case with Anthracite/Black Nike Sport Band
[doublepost=1502335460][/doublepost]
Or these color combinations aren't selling well at all. They are kinda plain...
[doublepost=1502308436][/doublepost]How well are the aluminum cases holding up?

They hold up quite well against door knob, door frame, public subway turnstyle, bathroom sink/wall/facet bumps and rubs ... not a dent nor scratch! Sold my first one last month when I 'attempted' a final try to go Android! What a joke and a stupid decision I quickly regretted in 4 days! Never again .... regardless of how "cool" Android devices and tech "seem" to be and/bragged about - it's about using the tech day to day that iOS has me one over! Thus bought a Nike+ Watch Anthracite/Black yesterday with AppleCare+ yesterday. Setup tonight.

Razor thin cellular Apple Watch 3 here we come!!!

Not without Sieko's motion charging technology or something that effectively does the same thing when you shake or move the watch on your wrist ... then no I don't want thin at the same screen size/resolution. I'd rather go fully wider with thin or not just yet.

Bought one on impulse, given that its cheaper than what you'd pay for a series 1. But then again i don't really need it. Its one of those thing i want but can't justify paying for. So i'll probably return it.

This is fairly idiotic - your life must be really confusing on a daily basis? Genuine question.

Nice to meet you too...and no it isn't.

Its not that 'confusing'. Its a product I'm not completely sold on in terms of personal usefulness, but its been discounted enough that I'm willing to check it out. Its not rocket science.

it was the "so I'll probably return it" bit that gave it away...

FYI U.K. people: not sold out here. I just bought one a couple hours ago to replace my smashed Series 2 as Apple wanted £250 to repair.

Be quick though, most of the U.K. has woken up by now.

Edit: space gray with plain black band in 42mm and silver with white band in 38mm sold out on U.K. store now.

Are these in any way different to the normal apple ones? As in are you sacrificing anything by buying this instead of theirs? Or is it just that you get the extra Nike stuff like the watch face on top ?

To anyone wondering the same discount is in their European store as well

No disadvantages. Only advantage is the otherwise unavailable bands (the holes I guess are better for evaporating sweat) and I guess also the additional Nike faces. This is a fantastic discount.

Yes, Series 3 is right around the corner but for me, Series 2 does everything I need. I don't need LTE or a camera, although if battery is improved that could be something nice.

Either way, excellent deal.

I wonder if the Series 2 will get the new CPU of the Series 3 like they did last year. I doubt it.

Also if the LTE rumors are true, Series 3 42mm will start at a minimum of $399.

Yeah it does sound like a good deal, still not sure if i even want a watch, any idea if Nikes return policy is the same as apples? as in you can unbox it and use it and try it out and return if it doesnt suit you without questiosn asked?

I wish we could get BestBuy to match locally.
I'm in that boat of "meh - not sure if I want a watch" but have wanted to try out using it for fitness mostly and thus I've been very price sensitive thus far..

Never mind - Looks like the deal is dead now..
Oh well

I'd like to see ...

Series 3 starting at $399 yet most likely we'll see startign at $429
Series 2 startign at $299,
Series 1 starting at $169 - "The most affordable Apple Watch yet". Possibly parents could by this for tweens and more than likely help developers get new market segments. Apple is ALL about the ecosystem ... get them hooked whilst their young!

Also Apple may push to eduational markets like Apple EDU in the USA for donating Series 1 devices like they have with iPads already. Would be interesting to see.

Probably...not definitely.

Much like you, yesterday i came so close to picking one up because the price point was amazing. I said to myself, if i change my mind, just return it. Screwed around and didnt order it, checked this morning and i was mad at myself because they were out of stock lol.

I think there will be more sales as Fall draws near.

It is sort of interesting that at the local Best Buy, the open box/returned product cabinet is always totally full of Apple watches and barely ever has any other Apple products.

I think there are a lot of retailers sitting on existing inventory that are not gonna want to have it once a newer Watch version comes out.

Nike was likely smart and just jumped the gun to dump their inventory first.

I snagged a Black/Cool Grey 38mm late last night when I saw that the it was the only model that didn't indicate it was sold out on Nike's site. I kept getting an error that the model wasn't available to add to cart and to try again in a few minutes incase other users didn't complete their purchase. Took about 20 min of clicking Add to Cart over and over, but I finally got one.

Anxious to try it out.

FWIW, the perforated bands were originally only available with purchase of the "Nike" Apple Watch. But that hasn't been the case for quite some time, they released the perforated "Nike" Apple Watch bands for separate purchase a while back. The special Nike watch faces are the only thing exclusive to the Nike watch at this point.

Anyone that purchased during this, have you received any shipment updates? The last update I have from UPS is "Package is in transit to a UPS facility" form Memphis on Friday at 2am. I purchased late Wednesday night

I also purchased late Wednesday night and my watch (38mm Black/Cool Grey) arrived on Saturday. My original estimated delivery was the 15th, so I was surprised it got here so quick.

I'm sure delivery time depends on what watch you ordered. If they are clearing out inventory they may be pulling stock back from multiple warehouses and there could be a slight delay. What estimated delivery date did they give you when you ordered? What does it say on the UPS tracker?

Don't know if it's the same in the US but across the pond, you can only purchase some of the Nike bands. The darker grey one is not available for separate purchase. I think only 3 of the 5 or 6 are available separately. Not sure why they did that. Maybe the darker grey version, for example, came out later? Could by why it wasn't included in the sale.

Wonderfully enough, I woke up this morning to see that it arrived in town at 1am and is now out for delivery. The original estimated delivery was set for tomorrow. I picked up the 42mm Silver/white. I was hoping for the black but I was a little late to the party.

Apparently it took 4 days to get from Memphis to Minneapolis with no other stops or scans. Oh well. Thanks for your reply!
