...

In the first video, Kevin Hart is shown unboxing the new Apple Watch Nike+ ... "Months later, a film crew found him in the desert 700 miles from home," reads the text in the video.
... Hart, now sporting long hair and a beard, is pictured running through the desert and he explains why he can't stop.
...

I hope there is a disclaimer saying that the watch battery doesn't last months.

I like that the ad shows the mental illness most people who enjoy running have.

I know right?

These are some of the best commercials Apple has released lately. They make the watch look really good, even though they're showing just one thing it can do.
I agree, this is the best AW commercial I've seen. Keeping the focus on one specific task that the AW does is the way to go.

one thing bad about this ad is the first ad when kevin got the new apple watch nike. he recorded it from the selfie camera on his phone in his car. the ads maker made the video really look bad to give impression that this is real kevin heart recording himself.

the bad thing about this is Apple watch uses iPhone to work, and kevin heart recorded himself using the iphone, and it gives impression that the iphone front camera shots really bad video. lol

So Kevin Hart as Forrest Gump with Apple watch?
No.... not even close to what the Gumpster did.... Have you never seen the movie?

Pretty good spot. Doesn't make me want to go out and buy one but better than other ads apple put out.

I sent my Nike Watch 2 back to Apple today due to the touchscreen is fairly ropey at the end of run and plain old useless when even slightly damp. This won't happen but Apple need to put a couple of extra physical buttons on the watch if they want runners to ditch their Garmin's and use the Apple Watch instead.

I always wondered what happened to Kimbo Slice.

If you really need motivation to start running it's not coming from the watch it comes within.

Or sign up for a 1/2 marathon or a marathon :p

And ditch the Apple Watch and get a Garmin running watch.

I'm actually looking to try (buy) watch to track my running. But will probably go for Garmin or something else. Definitely not Nike+. Was hoping to get it when they mentioned it on the Keynote but after that I already deleted Nike app from my iPhone after they completely ruined it and transformed into this terrible Nike Run Club or whatever it's called now (should be Nike Disaster App)

It definitely takes a toll on knees/joints and isn't for everyone, but it's great for burning calories, toning and for cardiovascular fitness.

Actually the knee thing is a bit of a myth, it's only bad for your knees if you have arthritis. Studies have shown that running actually reduces the chance of getting things like arthritis.

Ok, these are funny ads. But...

That guy is wearing the watch for months during the whole day while running and during the night while sleeping. May Apple/Nike Watch is running out of Battery after two days. It seems that mine is defective, will Nike give me a replacement that has a battery that will run for months or are they making of that feature?

The message sent across, is that about as many AppleWatches are being stolen as sold.
This makes clear why Apple conceals selling rates, closes boutiques, and ends it's luxury paradigm.
Anyway, I wouldn't wear anything when running the desert and put my watch on craigslist long before.
I advise Apple to follow that, probably the best channel for the target group (next to a popup outlet in the desert...)

I agree that the iOS app itself is really bad compared to previous versions. It's painfully slow — and often crashes — on my iPhone 5s. My guess is that it is "optimized" for new iPhones. But Nike+ on the Apple Watch itself is fantastic.

I advise the guy to drag a car class battery with him on that walk.
Admirable sportsmanship.

Definitely!

I've been using Nike+ since it was launched 10 years ago. I was in my early 40s and out of shape, and Nike+ motivated me to get moving again. Since then, I've logged 25,000 Nike+ miles and am in the best shape — both physically and mentally — of my adult life.

If you're on the fence about Nike+ or buying an Apple Watch for its fitness features, just do it!

Do you use the Nike Run Club on your watch exclusively? Thinking of switching to it from the Workouts app but heard it was pretty unreliable?
