Thanx.

This list definitely shows the demographic of typical iPhone users - and it shows, that Trent is absolutely right.

And whoever wonders why iPhone doesn't leave the toy status - check this list. It's really mind-boggling to see what sells on the AppStore.

+1. That article you quoted from the other poster is hilarious and sad. Car Jack streets is offensive?

It does? How?

O.K. Let me try to explain my very short-headed post.

First of all this list shows, how boggled and sick some developers really are. They really dig out the worst profanity available to go for the quick buck.

Second it shows, that those apps are not only stupidely coded, but also they seem to hit a certain target group - puberty and profanity go hand in hand.

Don't get me wrong. I sometimes love to listen to the Bloodhound Gang. But boy - that really are some mindless and profane lyrics, arent't they?

Given iFart's and iBeer's major success (check these TOP 20 paid Apps of all time) I guess we could clearly speak out about the iPhone-user demographic. I don't see ANY productivity app out there!

What I don't understand is people who have never listened to his music come into this thread and call him stupid and talentless and arrogant. For real people, I'm not telling you to go out and listen to his music. It's cool if you come in and whine about the things he said. Whatever. But quit commenting on who he is as an artist if you don't know what you're talking about.

And to those who are calling him "emo" and "depressed" or a "has been", you also have no idea what you're talking about because his latest music is neither emo or depressed and the popularity of his ever-changing releases tells me he is anything BUT a "has been".

Giving something away for free is a tried and tested marketing strategy... I'd be more impressed by his philanthropic credentials if he gave his entire back catalog away for free..

If he could, I suspect that he would. Interscope owns most of that stuff.

Scratch that. All of NIN's major releases are no available on the "media" tab of the NIN iPhone app.
