A £9.99 purchase would have been fine with me, even £12.99, but rubies, no thanks.

Why can't companies just sell a finished game for $10 or $20? Where or where are the people with brains running these companies? Don't they understand that selling 10,000 copies for $20 is better than selling $5,000 copies at $1 and then nickel and diming everyone for every stage of the game to the point the customers gets frustrated and uninstalls? Please lord bring back someone managing gaming companies who has the ability to think for themselves.

All I know is I will be downloading this day one. Hopefully it doesn’t disappoint. I still occasionally play Super Mario Run, and it remains fun, so I expect this to be good too. I’ve been hyped for this mobile version since it was first rumored/announced, so it’s kind of unbelievable that it’s finally releasing this month.

Unfortunately they do understand the economics of it, and it isn't more profitable to do it that way. Apple Arcade FTW. Keeping my trial subscription for at least a couple of months to see how it starts to pan out.
