I have ordered one of these for my 14"

Expensive (shipping to Australia and currency conversion it came to $200 AUD ? ) but the quality is fantastic.
Came here to recommend the same company. I have the Vero sleeve for the 13" MBP and am very happy with it. Have been a long time customer and while they can be even pricier for non-US customers due to the exchange rate, shipping and duties, they generally ship next day and the quality is top-notch! (no pun intended). Their Outback Solo is also a great bag. Customer service is among the best I've experienced too.

One alternative might be Etsy...there might not be many vendors with stock options, but many of those who work with leather are usually open to making custom sizes.

Smatree Hard Shell Laptop Sleeve Compatible with 16 inch MacBook Pro 2021

Got what I think is the perfect fit for the 16 inch MacBook. It's from Amazon, got it in 2 days. Super fast turnaround.

Says it's for a 15.4 laptop, but reviews showed it fit perfect, so gave it a try.

Perfect fit, and totally protects it. Was worried about zippers, but its got a nice little edge where it allows it to sit out of the way of the zipper.

$40..

There are literally thousands of cases and sleeves that fit notebooks from 14 to 16 inches.

Not that I can access the site from Australia - Incase say that they now have protective sleeves and cases for M1 Pro and Max.

That’s odd, I keep checking their site and today even emailed them to find out when they’d be releasing hard shells for MBP ‘21 bc their site still only shows cases for 2020 models. They sent me back a code for 15% off and a link to their backpacks. Where did you see this ad above? Maybe they only have the soft sided cases ready now?

@JillStraw - yes you may be correct - I got an email from them yesterday (I used to live in Canada) saying about their protective cases for the new MBPs - but due to redirection I can't open the original link to see what they are offering. I reached out to the Australian support for Incase and they said that they would not be ready until March 2022 - nearly 6 months after the MBPs were released!

@njvm OMG MARCH?! I live with a 2-year old. My poor machine won’t survive until march! I guess I’ll have to be hyper-vigilant and keep it in a sleeve till someone releases a shell. Thank you for the info!

I removed dust from antique Belkin sleeve for MBP 2006 I had lying around since those days. Fits new mbp 16 precisely :)
practically, any sleeve for pre-retina MBP 16 - will fit new one like it mid for it :) old MBP’s were the same but slightly thicker.

Read and think first, then speak only if you have something useful to say.

You: I've just ordered my new 16-inch Macbook Pro, but I wonder: Aren't there any cases or sleeves for the new Macbook Pros yet?

Me: There are literally thousands of cases and sleeves that fit notebooks from 14 to 16 inches.

Looks like for the 14in MBP they are offering what they call a 'classic universal sleeve' - which I think is possibly just a generously proportioned 13in sleeve that fits. There aren't any hard cases or fitted (icon) sleeves for the 14 in on the site as far as I can see.

I contacted Incase re: Hard Shell cases for the new pro's and was told they don't expect anything until next year...I guess a sleeve will have to do in the mean time.

I bought some inexpensive case from Amazon waiting for a hard shell, but it drove me nuts. Then I remembered my Book Book case from maybe 2011 for my 13 inch MacBook Pro, and it's great. The two pieces of elastic cover part of the screen, so I just don't bother attaching them. The Book Book is well aged, so at least it doesn't scream "new" or "pricey." ?

The Tomtoc sleeve for 16'' MacBooks from Amazon fits the new MBP 16'' 2021 perfectly.

There are several high quality leather sleeves made specifically for the dimensions of the new 14" and 16" MBP mentioned in this MacRumors thread. I’ve had personal experience with the RYAN London sleeve and have found it to be superb.

This Sena full-zip leather case looks interesting for anyone looking to completely enclose their 14" MBP.
It mentions that it will fit up to a 14" MacBook but it was designed in 2018, so it’s hard to tell how well it fits the new 14" MBP, but it does look quite nice.

Im still using the Casemate flight nylon 16" one from my 2019. Fits perfectly.
