My source says iOS 4.3 will be released March 11, but hey my source is only Steve Jobs (via iPad 2 event) and we all know he has a spotty track record with rumors.

True, but is is possible that Apple could change its mind, especially if the golden master was clean of defects or last minute fixes. Past updates have been released earlier than announced. Considering the netwrok load on Friday - online orders, instore purchases, and a massive iOS update, Apple might find it wise to split the iOS update off a few days.

Apple employee's who work retail and or support don't know of software or hardware releases until they start their shift the morning of release. So I doubt Darren R would know anything and or is speculating the release.

EDIT: okay, I take that back....i hit the update and "download and upgrade", but it errored out. Now it's saying that 4.2.1 is the latest.
